  1. 2 of our last 4 cruises we did not have PDP, so both times I had our TA call and upgrade our drink packages and internet with our CC discount.
  2. I just looked on Celebrity app for our next. My Xpress Pass has Aqua Class. Elite Plus. Onyx. There is a big gap between Onyx and Amethyst.
  3. We are booked on the Solstice sailing Nov 5th. I did get an email about move up bidding. They lowered the starting bid for CS to $375pp. RS, CS and SS are what I'm able to bid on. I went to see what suites Celebrity has available on line to book. Celebrity does not have any suites available for this sailing. Why reduce the opening bid for a suite that is not available to even book.
  4. I had prime rib from the MDR on Solstice last month. I was dining in Luminae and my prime rib was about a 1-1/2" thick. It was great and I ate the whole thing. If I would get a thin PR when served to me, I would request a 2nd PR.
  5. Check out Celebrity flyer. We did 2 Alaska sailing this year. I did not dress up at all. https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Flyers/15047638_CEL_Evening_Chic_Overview_Flyer.pdf
  6. I have looked at the new AS. They changed my favorite S2's on S class ships to a AS. I'm fine with any M class sky suite. When it comes to S Class. We were just on Solstice in 2114. We could still hear some noise from the OC. 2114 will become a AS. This fall we have our 1st CS booked on Eclipse. When it comes to the Aqua Suites we just wont use the extra benefits. People tell me that Celebrity has a Spa and Gym. 🙄
  7. We have sailed 7 times with HAL. The last time was 2008 on Eurodam. I remember having a nice suite on HAL. I dont remember a assigned dining restaurant. Has HAL improved things for their guest in Suites. As Celebrity has over the years. The last time I cruised with HAL you could still smoke in your cabin and I had a wine card that they punched holes in.
  8. Back in 2015 our TA booked us 5 cabins and we had Select dining in the MDR. Our TA was able to make reservations for all 11 of us at one large table for the same time each night. This year we sailed with friends from the England. I linked our reservations and tried to book a excursion and got the note saying they were in a different currency. But I was going to use their OBC.😖
  9. Yes you can order off MDR or Blu. Just ask your waiter for the menu. We did not have any problems on Millie or Solstice this year. We dined in Luminae. E Class ships the answer is no.
  10. We used to book concierge cabin on deck 12, 2169 or 2171. For us it is about location. One deck up to food and pool. I like this location better on the other S Class ships. One deck up to food and right out to the pool. Easy to bring lunch back to the large covered deck.
  11. We were on Solstice last month. They had prime rib on the MDR menu night 7 . I looked for prime rib the 1st night and did not see it. I just looked at our Nov 5 cruise on Solstice. The app has Prime rib under day 7 MDR menu.
  12. Check out this flier. https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/casino-bcc-flyer-july-25-2022.pdf
  13. We get the same small breakfast delivered each morning at 7. Our last cruise was DH's 60 birthday. I asked the butler for roses and balloons. We seem to tip an extra $100 for a 7 night cruise.
  14. I got some of those JWB @ $99. Another time I got 2 @ $305 with the box. Locally JWB is $230 plus 10% tax. Last month on Solstice they did not have any JWB for sale in the shop.🥳
  15. Looks like your standard drinks are only available in the casino. see note ††Casino only https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/blue-chip-club-benefits chart-V5.pdf This link said no drink package for Amethyst. Dated July 2022. https://www.celebritycruises.com/content/dam/celebrity/pdf/casino-bcc-flyer-july-25-2022.pdf
  16. I have booked 2 Hot Glass Class through Celebrity website. We are on the Nov 5th cruise on Solstice. It is not under Shore Excursions it is under Onboard Activities.
  17. As we live in the Pacific Northwest. Alaska is our quick and easy cruise. My only thought is that the sailing to the glacier is very scenic.
  18. In my eyes the Hubbard Glacier is my favorite. Also Ziplining in Icey Strait Point. Photos from Millie June 2022. You can see the excursion boat in the one photo.
  19. As far I know only Fort Lauderdale T25 has a completely different entrance for Suite guests. Where is your cruise leaving from?
  20. We did 2 Alaska cruises this year and one last year. Celebrity has 3 ships that do Alaska. If a newer ship is important to you, then look at Millennium. Millennium has been updated. Also Millie goes to Hubbard Glacier. HG is my favorite glacier. In my eyes Solstice is in good shape. We are back on her in 2 weeks. https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/celebrity-millennium-revolution
  21. If your mean Celebrity's website. There is not covid info for South American cruises. Our cruise is in April. I have put the cruise on hold until Celebrity has something in writing. American Embassy in Argentina did have a requirement of PCR test within 2 or 3 days before departure of cruise ships. That requirement was gone the last time I looked at the website.
  22. Well I think of Dockers. Slacks dont have pocket stitching on the outside of the pants. Slacks is the word Silversea uses.
  23. We have sailed on Azamara once. While the places we went were nice, the ship was boring. Food seemed limited at breakfast and lunch. I have looked at Silversea in the past. It comes down to 2 things. Ship being to small and not many activates. The three different dress codes. I have never worn a tux. Have have not worn a suit in over 15 years and dont own a pair of slacks. I wear pants with 5 pockets. I do have 5 pocket pants not made of blue jeans material. Celebrity we mostly book Sky Suites. We do have a Celebrity Suite booked for next year. I'm sure if I'm going to like having a separate bedroom.
