  1. Perhaps PCL is looking to get more formally dressed guests on the ships. 🤪
  2. I am wondering if PCL is losing revenue due to DMW seemingly having no SD space and so some guests just give up and don't even try on board.
  3. Why not refare if savings are significant? I have refared when having an agency booking - several tines. I don't use your agency, but as long as no penalty to you and the amount you save is worth the change, why not?
  4. I like a paperback too, but I have to admit that an e-reader can take up a lot less space.
  5. I think Saturn Princess has a nice ring to it.
  6. Sorry, I only eat apples. IIRC, it picks up a device name from the hardware device itself. I believe a Windows PC has a name in the boot-up settings. You can also name your cell phone. Anyway, there was suitable identifiable info that I could tell who was who when Medallion Net presented the active connections.
  7. It's in your booking information. Download your Travel Summary from within the Cruise Personalizer. Your CC Member numbers are part of the passenger information section near the top of page 1.
  8. So many people now use eBooks - and even audiobooks - that the paper versions almost seem like quaint antiques.
  9. I think Saturn Princess has a nice ring to it.
  10. He meant the circumvention plan. My wife's circumvention is to typically get a coffee ashore as normally only has one in the morning. Otherwise, the IC offering periodically doesn't add up to much at all (no coffee for me).
  11. My wife would be looking for a kiddie size coffee. 12 oz is quite a bit more than she has.
  12. Yes, you can request early ticketing right on the EZ-Air page. Of course, you need to have paid for the flights first - and you can do that ahead of paying for the cruise itself. As for control and upgrade, there is a variance on what we can and cannot do with our reservations, depending on the airline. It also depends on class of service being booked. You should immediately look-up any flight booking on the airline's website and make sure you have your personal information setup there, FF number, etc. You may be able to upgrade a booking prior to ticketing, or not. I am not sure what you mean by "control", but you can always access a flight booking at the carrier's website in my experience.
  13. Fares may be high in the market, but I daresay you are not going to beat EZ-Air for international travel. Only possible way would be to find another consolidator, but then you wouldn't have the flexibility of EZ-Air where we can continue to shop flights and fares and change booking on a whim right up until we get ticketed. Example: My final air bookings for travel to and from Europe last Fall (two one-ways) were ~$750 USD for Business Class each way.
  14. Anyone who has the login credentials can connect and use your MedallionNet package. We had the 4-device package last Fall and shared between two couples. You could tell what device was what from the descriptive tag (at least we could), so that if I was connecting my PC, I could easily know which of the four active devices to knock off in order to connect my PC (namely my cell phone and not someone else's). Similarly, switching back to the phone was no problem. Our protocol was that each of the four of us should always have an available connection. I could of course knock out my wife's phone at night if she had gone to bed before me. (But then I would get in trouble if I went to bed and didn't take out my PC and restore her phone connection - LOL).
  15. I am sure the general guest population will appreciate seeing every day steak re-appear versus the burgers that had supplanted the steak choice some time back. However, it also sounds like the strip steak meat is nothing to get excited about.
  16. When it was first introduced, the consensus on here by a wide margin was "nuts" to the new version and bring back the original.
  17. No, that is not something that has ever been developed as a feature. On the ship, you used to be able to submit a form to indicate what your needs were for disembarkation (type and timing). Regardless of what your ship does, you will at least receive a disembarkation assignment prior to the last full day. You can easily change it at Guest Services. If you are not sending larger bags into the terminal for pick-up by color-coded group, you can disembark at your leisure. Otherwise, just ask for a disembarkation group color that suits your timing.
  18. @beshears, you can also read all about dining and dress recommendations on Princess.com. You will also see how many nights are designated formal (or sometimes dress-to-impress) on a voyage of varying lengths.
  19. Should you decide to do so, you could create a new email address and forward all of your current email to the new one and gradually work at letting people know and updating your email address with various service providers you do business with. Eventually, you will be converted over and can conveniently leave behind sources you'd rather not be receiving emails from.
  20. Hope you don't have formal night and what to wear then as a top decision factor. I should think itinerary, guest experience, service, and food all weigh much heavier. Most lines have done away with formal wear. Princess still documents it, but anything goes from smart casual to tuxes/gowns. AFAIK, the only line enforcing formal wear is Cunard.
  21. Your topic would have been much more on point if you asked "Does Princess still have Formal Nights?"
