Glad I booked the British Isles for July 2024. Not interested in any of the itineraries RCI just released. Is it just me or are the itineraries RCI offers getting MEH ? !!

Agree....Suites across the fleet should include Voom Surf-n-Stream. A cheap shot by RCI...but not surprised. We stay in OS and I've always thought the WiFi should be included and NOT just based on the particular ship I'm sailing on !!!

The time your ship arrives into port would be helpful but usually it's anywhere from 1/2 hour to 45 min. Line up early as there will probably be a line. We were just off Liberty which docked at 7:00am and were first off at 7:30 but that was with the suite concierge's first group.

So as long as paid before sailing you get the old rate...even after final is paid right ??

RCI hasn't offered luggage valet since covid.

Disembarking was very organized for those in a suite and Key holders. We did self assist and those suite guests that chose this option met at 7:15 in the Schooner Bar and our concierge walked us all off....first off the ship. Those with the Key they met in the same area lined up and the DL concierge walked them off after our group. The only embarking plus at the terminal was a suite area zone #6 that prioritized our luggage onto the ship. This was a great option and hoping it's offered at other embarking ports.

You quoted and asked me...I have no idea as it wasn't me that purchased the bag. Ask the person who purchased it.

We have done this many times (RCI) with our grandkids in not only the Caribbean but also in Alaska and had no problems doing so. Usually the parents are on an excursion.

Same for us on the several RCI ships we've sailed on this year.

We just sailed out of Cape Liberty Oct 5th and no one was checking times...however even though we were in a suite and accessed the suite line everything was very disorganized !!!

Yes, ours (price adjustments) have always been to the credit card used.

OK...Now I'm confused. If I pre-pay tips can I not remove them onboard? If I do not pre pay can I remove the daily charges once onboard and tip who I want to. And does my cabin steward know either way?

We thought we would use it...we didn't...so it was a waste for us.

I don't believe in "Polls" and now that RCI has decided to raise gratuities again that 18% may just increase.

I thought they were available towards end of cruise when they could see drink sails were down. We purchased it once a long time ago and it was a waste of $'s.

When sailing out of PE we've never found it necessary...as we go through the gate it's easy to spot an RCI ship and the taxi drivers seem to know. Such an easy port.

We're also D+ and very close to Pinnacle and sail in suites. We eat one maybe two meals a day in the WJ and tip per drink in the SL ... keep our cabin extremely neat and are low key and rarely ask for anything. I'm now considering to remove my pre-paid gratuities. But will certainly tip those that provide a service to us.

I never thought it possible but now am also considering just tipping those that do a service for us.

Those that think they should just raise cruise prices...they already have...right?

We've sailed RCI Radiance class to Alaska many times and usually have a great dock spot in Juneau right in town. On our Serenade port stop Sept 2022 we were the farthest out imaginable and had to be shuttled into town. Lines were so long this was a mess !!!

We loved Hotel 1898.

I booked a private shuttle for the 6 of us directly with Corey over the phone and chose our times. From MCO to our Port Canaveral Hotel and end of cruise day back to MCO. Worked out great. Call him...888 416-8830
