  1. It can and does sell out so book it either with your ship or directly with them where you can get the best price. Best of luck.
  2. We're usually first in line and have always had our choice of seats (2nd row middle) and dock right across from the entry no need for someone to meet us. This whole VIP thing including crab is new and wasn't offered on our most recent tour which was this past September. Of course I believe you could have purchased something but wasn't necessary for us and our extended family. The only refreshments offered (comp) was hot chocolate and at the end a bag of "goldfish crackers" 😄 You're going to have a great time...enjoy !!!
  3. We've taken cookies from the WJ as we've disembarked many times and have never been stopped. 😜
  4. The Trip Insurance Store....Highly recommended here on CC and Steve is often a contributor. He and his staff are amazing at getting you the best option for your personal needs. Call directly as it is always best to speak to a real person rather than trying to figure out all of this on a website. (888) 407-3854
  5. What is the "VIP" have done their tour twice and never heard of this.
  6. We'll be staying there early this December for the Christmas Market. Let me know how you like it.
  7. I guess you don't understand the concept/policy of giving a significant other matching status.
  8. You certainly "should" have mentioned to a staff member even a waitstaff which I'm sure there were when this was happening. What good does it do on the survey (other than a complaint) to address a problem that could have been addressed and taken care of then?
  9. "Fair" has nothing to do with the RCI C&A policy that has been in affect for years.
  10. Liberty 10/5/23......$70.99 Explorer 2/23/24..... $70.99 Icon 5/18/24.....$85.99 Jewel 7/18/24.....$71.00
  11. The Conair 1875 has lately been in our cabins on Navigator, Explorer, Harmony, Jewel and Serenade and it's the exact one I use at home and works great. Agree, if it's not in the desk drawer ask your cabin steward for it.
  12. I was recently asking this same question and ended up booking the Hampton Inn & Suites Brickell thanks to some great recommendations here...Thanks all.
  13. Absolutely Harmony...Our grandkids (young boys just under 10) did not want to get off this ship.
  14. There is a ticket booth selling tickets just outside the port terminal... and the trolly is right there or at least there was last time we were there. As far as walking downtown...no...our ship offered a shuttle round trip to near the Quincey Market.
  15. You have absolutely made the right decision....good for you !!!!
  16. I agree. Our corner room (2nd floor) at the Auberge Place d'Armes gave us an amazing view of the Chateau. We couldn't have lucked out more with this room/hotel !!!
  17. OP you should have no trouble having the hotel call a taxi for you...Of course your choice to do this or take the train. Get to Schiphol early as you never know. Our arrival into this airport was a mess but when we left from our cruise ship to get back it was easy.
  18. I wouldn't bother to rent a car. Take the ship shuttle from the port into town and then use the offered shuttle (we paid $10.00 pp in September) for a tour of Fortress of the Bear and the Raptor Center...each of these has an additional venue fee.
  19. Agree completely with all the above. We just did this tour (again) this past September. Our RCI Serenade was docked right across (a few feet) from where the entrance was to board. Line up early and agree middle 2nd row was the best. Our two grandkids (6 & 10) were the only kids onboard and the Captain invited them up to the wheelhouse for pictures with him. The crew onboard gave so much special attention to the boys and they loved this tour.
  20. Wasn't Asia to be on the booking schedule this week?
  21. We'll be on Icon mid May and hope Cpt Johnny will be on by then. My extended family loves him.
  22. Checkout the Auberge Place d'Armes...we loved this hotel and location when we sailed from Quebec City. Also the Clarendon Hotel and the Palace Royal Hotel...both great locations. Getting to the port is an easy taxi ride you don't need to be right by the port.
  23. I hope so. Isn't he going to be on Icon ?
