  1. Agree...OP if you're a Costco member check out pricing on their website for your rental.
  2. Agree..Black Friday/Cyber Monday which the OP has missed. I usually purchase anything that pertains to my sailings during this time....so far in advance.
  3. Just a quick question please. If you happen to have a short connection and that flight is missed (no fault of your own) are you given any option to have a much later flight the next day or do you have to accept the next available ? My short connection may be where I have family (DEN) and could easily stay with them. It would be great for a quick visit. Thanks.
  4. Just adding to the above...There is a comp. shuttle to get you from your terminal to the LAX-IT area. Easy signage as you exit the luggage area. The shuttles are large and well marked.
  5. "Greedy" We've waited much to long to get Navigator here. Not interested at all in Anthem. 😀🙃😘
  6. Ask away Virginia...I'll assume it's nothing that I can't answer publicly.
  7. If you "must" see this show (good if you have small kids with you...otherwise) book directly. Absolutely NO reason to book with your cruiseline. You might also consider instead of checking out the Bering Se Fisherman Tour instead if you have any interest. Check out pricing directly on their website...you can check on your cruiseline also...pricing can vary. Sorry to offer a suggestion you may have not been looking for. But do enjoy whatever works best for you.
  8. We've sailed from Cape Liberty and will be sailing again this Oct 5th. onboard RCI Liberty. A great itinerary that will still include Bar Harbor...next year it won't. We're also in California and find that flying into EWR and staying in the Elizabeth New Jersey area...lot's of hotels on International Blvd...we like the Hampton Inn couldn't be easier. Looking forward to October.
  9. We did the most amazing tour in Athens booked with our rollcall. It was highly recommended by many on this board. PK Travel. Check them out...you won't be sorry !!!
  10. We'll keep Navigator here in San Pedro Ca.....Thanks so much ☺️
  11. Thanks....Where is the Hyper Soriana? Sounds like something we would like to check out on our next itinerary that port stops in PV.
  12. There should be no problem like what you experienced from the hotel. Taxi's will be lined up at the port very early from what we saw.
  13. For my cruise this upcoming Feb 2024 out of POM it's actually less expensive to fly into MIA vs FLL. So it's best to keep checking the rates as you never can be sure. I've also been checking hotel's and am seeing a great one night deal at the Miami Airport Hotel...something I would have never expected. Then we'll just need transportation to the port from there.
  14. On Harmony....At the WJ lunch & dinner also at Johnny Rockets and from room service...but both of those are a fee.
  15. Waiting for the booking to open for our July 2024 pre-cruise at this hotel. Also looking at the Ambassador Hotel maybe too.
  16. If you change your mind and would like to see the Fortress of the Bear and the Raptor center there will be someone selling roundtrip transportation to both of these for $10.00pp. A small entrance fee will be charged at each venue. We did this option last September and it was great and still gave us plenty of time to walk through the city before taking the ship shuttle back to the port. Just something to consider.
  17. Crazy pricing sometimes happens. When the Navigator Feb 2025 Mexico bookings were released I got my favorite OS for less than the advertised JS. The other night when the Jewel 2024 opened from Amsterdam to Barcelona the JS were also at a higher price point than other suites.
  18. OP this has happened to several of us...nothing new.😏
  19. Your cruise ship will offer a roundtrip shuttle (free) from the dock into town.
  20. In Ketchikan do some research into doing the Bering Sea Fisherman Tour. Price directly on their website vs with your cruiseline. One of our all time favorite excursions.
  21. My above posts are my personal experience with RCI and our itinerary that included Vietnam. The ship did provide the necessary Visa once onboard for our port stop.
  22. I answered on the other post where you asked this same question. YES...the ship will arrange for the Visa needed to port stop in Vietnam. Those that felt the need to apply for them directly pre-cruise were very unhappy they had and the added expense to do so. The ship at some point prior to arriving into Vietnam will collect your Pass Port and return it with the Vietnam Visa before your scheduled stop there.
  23. You have the answer you need and it's that the ship provides the Visa required for your Vietnam port stop. Many people on our cruise that included Vietnam had gotten their Visa's independently and were so sorry they had done this...the ship provided the Visa's to everyone...regardless. No need to stress over this..it will be taken care of once onboard.
  24. Take a shuttle at the port or a taxi out on the street...cheap and easy. We used to take the bus to the Malecon and back but our last few times we have seen the bus very crowded with locals trying to get where they need to be and standing room only.
  25. You will more than likely get better pricing/booking this directly yourself. A noon flight is easy to make with doing self assist. We have easily made a noon flight out of MCO.
