  1. I actually don't care for the RS at all...that piano is a waste of space. The OS's are our favorite category.
  2. This past October we did a full Panama Canal transit with RCI from Los Angeles to Tampa. A great itinerary. Consider the options to do something similar if possible. Enjoy whatever works out best for you.
  3. Love this hotel. Our extended family stayed there for our 2 night pre-cruise April 2022. The front desk does have menu's from a few nearby places that deliver since we didn't have our car rental the first night.
  4. Yes....Have also used ours for a JR milkshake on ships that have one.
  5. Thanks for some recent experience. The breakfast policy seems to have perhaps changed.
  6. They can try what works out best for them 😐
  7. What are the chances this is going to be the itinerary. I've been waiting a long time for RCI to either start or end in Shanghai. We did a Singapore to Shanghai and would love to do something similar again. Possible open schedule date June 26th ??
  8. Try Hyatt Place. You can also ask for a late check out but they'll hold your luggage. Several places near by to get breakfast. If you're a Hyatt member breakfast is included.
  9. Exactly what some of us have posted above...read through them. Hyatt members get breakfast.
  10. Booking transfers you'll spend much more than is necessary. Use a taxi for FLL and Uber or a private (shared) shuttle company for MIA.
  11. As far as the location on the ship. Don't base it on what you might or might not see coming into port as things can change. Base it on cabin location and access to what you will be doing onboard. We like true afts for the wake view and mid ship with cabins above and below. Of course this also can vary as we sail in GS and up and sometimes there is no way to avoid public spaces above. We love the southern caribbean itineraries and very happy with in particular one of our upcoming ones out of POM onboard Explorer an 11 nighter March 2025...some great southern ports.
  12. Yes...they usually ask for your card on the first night...and remember these concierge's usually know who their guests are going to be...they can "see" your SeaPass picture on their computer. So don't embarrass yourself or the person you're sailing with...We've also seen this happen more than once.
  13. Quebec City is one port for our pre-cruise days we found it very easy to just walk on our own with out using a HOHO.
  14. We've had some pretty great whale watching from near the fire pit along the shore in ISP. Also many years ago from our tender (when they used them).
  15. Good to know...thanks. Yes at one time a charge for breakfast was offered with VT if not a Hyatt member. I've booked (member) direct for one night in between cruises March 2024 but will definitely check price point when VT releases their schedule.
  16. Interesting...but are you a member of Hyatt that may make the difference? Otherwise perhaps policy has changed.
  17. You can come and go to the WJ during their open hours as often as you like...no one is watching or cares. It's an open buffet area.
  18. Of course I know that and why I asked the question of the poster.
  19. We enjoy the Hyatt Place (convention center location) a perfect location next to the Harbor Shopping center with a Publix market, shops and restaurants with our favorite one being Duffy's. Best pricing is either as a member which includes breakfast or with ValueTrips. The hotel also offers a shuttle to their hotel from FLL for $5.00 per room reservation. Enjoy what ever works well for your stay.
  20. Recently on Serenade sorry you have old info. Enjoy the ship...the WJ is great and we ate all our meals there during our Alaska and Panama Canal cruise.
  21. You would use this form for a port stop ??
  22. Thank you so very much...so helpful !!!
  23. Just saw this on the news. Looks pretty bad.
