  1. another thing could be with the contracts ncl has with that tour operator as in that tour operator can not do that tour on the day the ship will be in port
  2. Celebration Key , a new cruise port in the Bahamas where some ships is going to in summer 2025
  3. the main issue is you are basically going from NYC to Boston. Foreign class ships like cruise ships require a distant foreign port of call to meet the PVSA requirements. Quebec is a foreign port of call but is not a distant port of call. this is why on almost all of the reposition cruises they always go to the ABC islands to meet that requirement like the NYC to New Orleans cruises
  4. Cruise 1 goes from NY to Canada Cruise 2 goes from Canada to NY not an issue
  5. very glitchy the Elation is also missing cruises too, its like that ship no longer exists

  8. i sailed on the venezia twice in different cabins and from what i noticed those covers is attached very loose causing them to just fall off. closing the door is all that is needed for it to fall off. i lost count the number of times that thing pop off when i entered and exited my cabin. There is plastic tabs that is suppose to keep it attached, either the tab on the cover is broken or the tab in the sensor is broken. it needs a better design
  9. Parking at the Manhattan cruise terminal where the venezia docks is 45 dollars per night. this on the terminal website: https://nycruise.com/manhattan-terminal/parking/
  10. you dont need to do check in to make show reservations. show reservations is its own thing you can always go back to the on check in to make any changes if needed
  11. i had this happen to me one. this is done during the early morning hours like around 2-3am when everyone is sleeping. dont be scared if the ship movement wakes you up
  12. it depends, the side can change from each sailing. one sailing might be port and the other sailing is starboard, etc
  13. 2 hours is only for the embarkation port when you board the cruise on the first day. it does not apply to the port of call ports during the cruise during the cruise, after the ship docks it can usually take about 30 minutes for the ship to get permission to let people off the ship
  14. it is better to do it so the information like your emergency contact, credit card for onboard account is already in the system for that second leg otherwise guest services or someone else needs to do it
  15. other cruise lines like Norwegian is the same, your new status is on the following cruise too
  16. do be aware that often times the cruise critic page will sometimes never load. if you use the wifi package, the site loads better.
  17. you are fine, the website is suggestion. there is no luggage restrictions
  18. that new gift is horrible, looks like old stock after they ran out of fanny packs. they was suppose to some kind of new bag for the gift like a tote bag
  19. the only view of the engine room is whatever they have on the monitors in the control room
  20. It seems to be the new standard for all cruise lines . Carnival online check opens at around 14-16 before sail date, royal is about 45 days before sail date
  21. Its a glitch with the website. my upcoming cruise next month shows a -$10 balance and there is a link on top to complete payment
