  4. This brings back my memory of my previous cruise a few weeks ago on a Carnival ship. that was a 4 day cruise. Heavy winds prevented docking in port and the cruise be came a cruise to no where. I think Norwegian might be doing something similar now. Sail as close to the island to meet whatever requirement they might be to get a wavier for not docking and then sail back. Thus a cruise to no where

  6. yes you can do have one device logged into the wifi using your folio account and have the other device not logged in to use the hub app

  8. Yes it is just like a regular restaurant where you get appetizes, entrees, desserts and all that stuff ask the waiter for the children menu, there is one both places is casual, no need to dress up
  9. the next cruise is a 5 day with Bermuda being the only port. If they do cancel that port, i wonder what will happen. Alternative ports like the Caribbean is too far, i don't think Canada is ready for any cruise ships this time of the year. its going to be interesting There is another arctic cold storm with cold weather and heavy winds coming this weekend to NYC
  10. Double check the wording of the FCC. For about a month or so, Norwegian gave everyone a 10% coupon that is only valid on one specific ship on a specific date
  11. i get the same error message when i log into my account. it seems to be a website glitch or some other glitch with the IT system i recently got a email about my upcoming cruise and it shows the correct level
  12. NCL is slowly to add startlink internet service like what RCCL has check out mking live thread, he posted a few speed tests of the getaway wifi service
  13. it will be tight but seems doable earliest is around 730ish when they start self assist where you can carry the bags off the ship yourself. the airport is only about 15-20 minutes away from the port make sure everyone in your group has tsa precheck this will help with getting thru airport security somewhat quicker

  16. when are you sailing? near final payment due date is when some cabins gets released due to people cancelling

  21. I found the same pieces of art on multiple ships and on multiple cruise lines. the artwork they sell is not unique
  22. thats not possible. there is no link between the payment method used to pay in full and a payment method for the onboard account. they are two separate things when you do the online check in for the cruise you can set up the account so that everyone is on their own and make it so thier account is cash based. both a cash based and credit card is individual to each person
  23. on the sunshine i have the value plan. On my phone i use google voice to make calls over wifi. For my cruise i can send and receive text messages in google voice but the call itself could never connect
  24. ive been on many many cruises where whats posted in the compass does not match reality. yes on paper the hours is listed however if the person manning that thing now needs to be somewhere else. well too day that station will now closed
