  1. We did start packing today, and similarly it is mostly things that we use mainly on cruises, so that helps. We fly on Friday so have a little less time remaining, but it is all coming together nicely, finished our last documentation requirement for the flights today, and will check-in for the flight and the hotel on Thursday. I do like the Hilton app and the Digital Key, way better than joining lines to check-in after a long flight.
  2. Divina, the cruise is sold as 11 nights Miami - Miami with the next cruise being 3 nights to Ocean Cay.
  3. Not had a problem with this across several cruise lines. If your middle name is listed then it needs to match your passport, but not had any issues with it not being listed.
  4. I think that may be true, they have been putting some effort into developing the China based market I believe.
  5. There have been quite a few copies of the bar menus posted on here and other websites. This is one that seems to be quite up to date... https://www.cruisemummy.co.uk/msc-cruises-drinks-menus/
  6. Hope you are feeling better now Jamie, going to be a busy few days for you! I look forward to reading other's favorite aspects of Divina as I'm sure we didn't find everything when we were onboard in June last year. I'll start things off with the suggestion to pay attention to the port side of deck 7 as the general flow of traffic will lead you up and down the starboard side of the deck and you will miss things like the Sports Bar and the main entrance to Butcher's Cut. That can lead to the Sports Bar being a quieter spot most of the time, but not I suspect on the day we board 🙂
  7. That would be a 'no'.. "13.1 Alcoholic drinks, including wines, spirits, beer or other liqueurs are available for purchase onboard the Vessel at fixed prices. Passengers are not permitted to bring onboard any such drinks for use during the voyage, whether for consumption in their own cabins or otherwise. ".
  8. You'll have the boarding passes in the app, and all you are really missing from the ticket is the luggage labels and the very small health questionnaire, both of which can be handled at the port.
  9. I rather liked the way our Junior Butler jumped the gun when they arrived at our door for the first time and before our butler could say anything he jumped in with "... I'd like to introduce you to my Butler..." only to be firmly and politely corrected with "... no, I am their Butler, and I am your colleague... " 🙂 I have to say they made a great team and the Junior's enthusiasm during the entire cruise was delightful.
  10. It should still be fine to just turn up, but did you complete the check-in process in the app?
  11. We had exactly that cruise booked until recently, the various changes and the trajectory of the changes caused us to doubt the wisdom of doing that trip with Celebrity, but we will do a similar itinerary with another line some time in the next couple of years. Not sure it would suit the OP though if beaches are something would want to enjoy...
  12. We would agree, we sailed on Millennium from HK to Singapore in 2019, it was indeed a fantastic cruise.
  13. That makes it a much easier choice then. I'd take YC over a Retreat Sky Suite every time, so a V1 wouldn't come close, for us at least.
  14. If you've found a 9 day Celebrity cruise in the Retreat for anything close to the MSC YC price I'd be surprised...
  15. Good to see some different ports being visited, but for us at least, 5 ports on a 12 day cruise is too many seas days to justify long-haul flights, but if you are based close to Singapore I can see the attraction.
  16. For the future, it is easy to check on the Miami arrivals using the Port website: https://wwwx.miamidade.gov/apps/seaport/dailydock/Default.aspx
  17. We will be boarding Divina in just over a week, and cruised on her in June last year. I wouldn't hesitate to book YC on her again, even with the walk to the YC restaurant.
  18. Not sure which cruise you are on, but our next one sails on 2/11 as well, and there have already been 3 upgrade bid emails over the last month or so, so it is possible that they may already have all the bids they need, especially if the ship is full or close to it...
  19. In the USA too based on that menu, as the pasta options did not carry the same '+'. As ever implementation may vary from ship to ship of course.
  20. No, you can't get around it that way, note the little '+' symbol: So far at least, MSC have only felt this was a necessary restriction on US departures, so you should be fine in the Med.
  21. See you onboard 🙂 We will fly in on the Friday and do a little exploring on Saturday.
  22. April 7th - May 22nd was the original plan, but as mentioned above, I wouldn't plan to be there on May 23rd... 🙂
  23. Sounds like you were very close to missing it again with that cruise, as you must be one of the last to visit before the shut-down for the redevelopment work in early April...
  24. I understand, but I recently moved a cruise and initially the agent thought I was asking to move it to an earlier date, and he asked for the reason as he would have to get approval from 'the corporate office' to do that and the reason could make a difference... That didn't sound like a blanket 'no' to me... Anyway, it falls under the general heading of 'it never hurts to ask...' 🙂
  25. Most of them were paused or cancelled during Covid and generally have not restarted. There is a link here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/meet-mingle/main/
