The sloping wall is probably the one in the bedroom but it doesn't restrict you and is the same in all the Premium Suites - the extra floorspace in the bedroom is a bonus in our opinion. However, Aloha is not our preferred deck for these because the overhang from the bridge makes the balcony feel a little claustrophobic.

In our experience, there is no separate line for check-in at Southampton terminals but they have announced that suite, elite and platinum can board earlier than other passengers.

No last minute changes for the most recent inaugurals on Princess. But then each ship after Royal Princess was almost a carbon copy. The Enchanted Princess and Discovery Princess builds was delayed by the pandemic and the inaugural dates changed but that was announced months in advance.

On our favourite Assistant Cruise Directors, Sarah Vanderplank, has announced that she will be heading out to join the Inaugural Team on Sun Princess after her current cruise on Coral Princess completes on 11th January.

There are NO dining reservations permitted on ANY Sun Princess cruise at the moment - not even the inaugural in 37 days. Hoping that will change soon and it will open up for future Sun Princess cruises as per the usual timings so keep an eye on the main Sun Princess thread.

Although we missed the introduction of the 360 dining experience on Discovery Princess by a few weeks. And that is by invitation for suite guests on Enchanted Princess and Discovery Princess (but can be booked now by non-suite guests for $149pp). Just to make it a little more confusing lol

In our experience, we had the same perks on Enchanted and Discovery Princess.

No complimentary access to the thermal suite on the newer Royal Class ships like Sky, but you do get the complimentary speciality dinner on embarkation night and access to the Concierge Lounge which doesn't exist on the older ships. Here is the suite perks letter you get in your suite (with Club Class now renamed to Reserve Dining):

No, no butlers on Princess. The closest to one is on Sky, Enchanted, Discovery and later ships where the highest level Sky Suite guests have a Suite Experience Manager to "service your every need".

Arrival times have not been required for a few months now - you get a broad boarding window and can turn up within that window.

I'm not sure it's working off-ship. Our muster defaulted to deck 6 too when we should also be in the Princess Theater on 7. I navigated to a different deck (9), went back to Explore the Ship, clicked Muster Station and it stayed on that deck. Clicked the Route button and it said connect to MedallionNet on board to build a route. I moved to deck 7 and scrolled to the forward deck, went back and did the same but no movement.

Loungers $20 for a half day/$40 for a full day, per person. If you purchase for a whole cruise then you can usually get them for $30 a day. Can be increased to $60 per day when booking for scenic days in Alaska, for example. Cabanas are available at $140 for a half day/$220 for a full day.

Yes, the Sanctuary location will depend on the ship:

Be warned - the pushed Update process on Android has left me with two apps with the same name next to each other on my phone - the old and the new version! And typically I clicked the first one and launched the old version - so you need to do some housekeeping and uninstall - when you are ready of course. Might need to compare the old and the new for a while.

Yes, just went to the old app and is prompted me to update (on android). I had done our final medallion ordering step yesterday but the new version also asked for some contact details (phone numbers) to confirm we were ready to board. No dining bookable yet for our Sun Princess inaugural. Haven't managed to work out how to find my other bookings on the new version.

Wow, and no big leap in prices (to account for Signature benefits) on new bookings in this new category on the Princess site as yet! They still haven't made it clear on the messaging though.
