  1. 1) Signature Dining Room for suites is currently Deck 7 Midship but there is talk of changes coming in around October with the Sanctuary Collection changes. It could be moving to Deck 8 Aft and becoming the Sanctuary Dining Room (with more passengers to cater for). 2) The Suite Lounge is open 24/7 with service available from sunrise to sunset. There is bar service. 3) Only the Sky Suite has side-by-side double vanity sinks: Penthouse (or Vista) and Owners (or Grand) Suites have single sinks in the bathroom and a sink in the separate toilet. Signature Suites have a mini-suite bathroom with one sink. Owners/Grand
  2. We've stayed in 7 Premium Suites on 4 different Royal Class ships (but only in Western Europe, along the US West Coast and around the Med) and never experienced wind issues. We did hear the anchor but only when walking around the room when leaving port - it's never woken us up and I am a really light sleeper. It's our cabin of choice - love the extra space in the bedroom! P.S. Avoid the Aloha deck ones - too much balcony overhang for us. Mind you we managed to get this awesome pic in the Norwegian Fjords at 4:30AM from that same balcony!
  3. The current Signature Dining Room doesn't appear to have luxurious views either so not sure this will be a big factor: And I'm sure they will come up with a way to make the awkward Deck 8 aft facing views more presentable e.g. The Reserve Collection Dining room has some fancy screens on it's windows.
  4. Yes, discussed earlier in the thread about the new pricing. Recent posts on another site mentioned the restaurant is deserted so they clearly aren't getting in the numbers.
  5. Some differences for you: The Majestic has an indoor pool with the Hollywood Pool whereas Enchanted has the outdoor Retreat Pool. The Enchanted has The Sanctuary whereas Majestic has the free to everyone Hollywood Conservatory which means you have great forward views with floor to ceiling windows. The Majestic has a Princess Live in the TV studio format with fixed arm seats while Enchanted has the open lounge version of Princess Live. Some differences in speciality restaurants and Lido food outlets but heard they will be aligning more in a future dry dock.
  6. This topic was discussed in this thread recently - not sure she is due for one as the most recent one was only 2 years ago
  7. Planks \and Steamers on Lido Deck 15 Aft at the back of the buffet. They are held alternate nights - reservations needed once on board Vines on Plaza Deck 5 Midships - might be offered anytime venue is open Menus in this post
  8. My starter is to look for recent videos and there is one on FB from 6/7/2024 which sweeps around the Arena and shows this view: Which places it roughly in the blue area below: Would be good to get verification from someone who has been in there!
  9. We watched the video and were disappointed that there wasn't anything apart from fancy food and lots of drinks i.e.nothing experiential like 360 and focussing on art. Looking at the dining menu and beverage menu, my other half would only be comfortable eating two out of the six courses (doesn't like fish or mushrooms) but would love the drinks. And I only like one cocktail but can do the food! So not for us.
  10. Thanks for the heads up - yes, showing as $79 each for our cruise in September too.
  11. Agree these are some of the disadvantages of sailing on Sun Princess but we loved some of the new outside spaces like the Sea View Terrace, The Promenade for casual dining and the service in The Sanctuary. Above all, we really enjoyed the new beverage menus with almost 200 new cocktails to try (and Spellbound cocktails were amazing!) BUT more drinks seem to appear in the Premium bracket on Sun Princess.
  12. Just to bring the thread back to the OP's original question: - There are separate Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash Beekman 1802 shower products provided in all staterooms on Sun Princess. - Currently this brand is only available on this ship in the Princess fleet. - There is also Beekman 1802 Handwash and Body Lotion provided:
  13. Beekman 1802 - same in all staterooms on Sun Princess. They were good enough (my other half left our own products in our Rome airport hotel shower so we had to use them!)
  14. No, but we did go past the Oceanview window for 10106 when walking around the secret deck outside. It's a lovely outside space!
  15. The Princess website actually has a lot of the dining and beverage menus on a site linked to from their Sun Princess Newsroom page here including the Horizons Wine Menu
  16. 12438 balcony pics (credit Laura E.S.L on FB)
  17. I am sure it would be possible - we never asked as we had Premium so had plenty of new drinks to try around the ship!
  18. When we went on Sun Princess last month, we were surprised to get a top shelf full of canned cocktails in the fridge instead of the normal Elite mini-bar spirits. We normally take the spirits home in our suitcase but didn't really want to take these back! I know other passengers got these too but the spirits appear to be back in circulation now.
  19. Already on some cruise ships - if you have ever been on the NCL Breakaway Plus class of ships like Bliss and Encore, then they have a resident country band in the Q Smokehouse dining venue. It's not our thing but we did enjoy the live aspect and watching passengers really getting into their line dancing 😁
  20. Only the same rumours going around the other social channels (the post was deleted on here so dare not spread them!)
  21. Previous passengers have reported no pickleball on Sun Princess.
  22. Planks \and Steamers on Lido Deck 15 Aft at the back of the buffet. Believe they are held alternate nights - reservations needed once on board Vines on Plaza Deck 5 Midships Menus in this post
