Ah, that means you will not have a separate Suite or Concierge Lounge = which is only available on Royal class or Sphere class ships - BUT you do get free use of the the Lotus Spa Thermal Suite throughout the cruise.

It would be useful to know which ship you are booked on as benefits will differ between Royal Class, Sphere Class and the older ships.

I have been booking comfort seats on BA on local European flights for a few years and it's always been a frustrating experience. Last time we spoke to Customer Services who took the details and then you have to wait while they push it through their back office to get a quote for the extra cost. We waited to hear back but had to phone back 3 weeks later - they said the seats were allocated to us but said they would have to resubmit the quote in the queue. We then got a call 3 days later and paid for the seats. We got a revised ticketing email with the additional charges but no mention that it was for the comfort seats and you have no indication on your online booking either. So you just check-in for your original seats and have to trust that it's your booking that's grabbed the middle seats. It may be better for long haul but don't get your hopes up!

Exactly the same for us, it depends on what entertainment on a cruise means for you. We don't usually do production shows so, when were on in early April, we loved the music around the ship and the Princess Live/Piazza offerings. We're booked to go on her again in September.

The Dome shows are Cirque - "Art Beat" played last night according to the Patter posted on the Live From for yesterday here. They had launched the production shows for Vallora and Fiera in the Arena so not sure why they haven't been playing recently.

I think this was a mistype - 17617 is a sideways inside cabin with pictures on cruisedeckplans. They were also posted on FB (credit Dawn D.) but with people in them so faces been blanked out.

While the Reserve Collection Restaurant does serve Mini-Suites currently, we don't know if they are making changes to the setup with the Sanctuary Collection changes in October e.g. a merge with the Signature Restaurant. When we were onboard last month, breakfast was 7 to 9:30am, dinner 5 to 9pm but they only served lunch on sea days 11:30 to 1pm. From discussions on CanadianBurgers live from thread (lots of pics of Reserve menus), Reserve menus had mostly the same dishes as the MDR but with upgraded ingredients. So better quality shellfish and steak. The port breakfast menu was much more extensive than the MDR however. The Reserve and Signature restaurants share their own kitchen.

Must admit I never saw the special cakes in International Cafe when were on Sun Princess last month. And the Desserts menu didn't mention the extra bottles of alcohol (usually an extra $2 if not on package) from other ships. There is also Soft Serve ice cream and Granitas on the Sun. We didn't try Gelato on the package as we weren't sure if it was included.

We did this way back in 2017 for the Majestic Princess preview cruise after she left the shipyard. We flew into Venice, had to find the bus that takes you to Venice Mestre from the airport and then picked up the direct train to Trieste. As we got closer it stopped at Monfalcone which upped our excitement levels! Once we arrived in Trieste we sought out the local bus which took us to a stop right in front of the terminal buildings - we were staying at the hotel opposite so this worked well.

Thanks for the live updates! On the Sanctuary, are you saying that they have already removed the option for non-Suite passengers to buy day passes? Thought it would have been something they aligned with the October change to Sanctuary Class (we are boarding again in September before the change and will hope to also enjoy the suite life!)
