There is no way this true. If so every company would eventually go out of business with this formula. Businesses have a duty to increase share holder value, not decrease it.

After years on Carnival, Mardi Gras was a huge change for us - Way more food options for dinner including one free time at Cucina and Chibang and also Guys Pig and Anchor besides just going to MDR every night. Horizon does have teppanyaki (as does MG) which is a great upcharge dinner. MG also has additional lido deck lunch items that Vista class doesn’t have including Shaq’s Big Chicken, street eats, sea dogs and more. Beyond food, MG has more bars and other entertainment areas with more comedy, trivia, live music and more. Horizon/Vista has ropes course vs roller coaster on MG so that could make a difference for your kids. Overall, I think you’d have great time on Horizon or MG.

Mardi Gras. Yes it’s bigger but it didn’t feel any more crowded to us. There is so much to do and so many options for food that everyone you are traveling with will have a great time. You won’t even be able to do everything in one week and everyone will want to go again.

Not true. Getting more points continued to get us better offers. I went from table games to slots where I earned way more points and started receiving way more and better offers.

I’ve received one for every cruise but DW only gets them about 50% of the time.

Are you saying that casino offers are causing Carnival to lose money so they have to make it up by charging everyone else more? Then why would they keep doing this if they are “losing” so much off of gamblers.

When did they limit you to one side in the steakhouse? I was on Celebration last week and this was the case. A little disappointing since I’ve always been able to order mushrooms and mashed potatoes in the past - as recently as July on Luminosa.

$10 had been my experience on most ships but this past week on celebration it was $15.

Yeah, 4am is early. Our flight is 1pm so no early wake up call. But it’s 8:30 so I should start packing 😀

Agree. We enjoy gambling as our form of entertainment. If we get room, drinks, excursions, transportation, steak dinners, etc all comped but we use all that money to spend in the casino it’s fair trade. Much better than paying for all that and having no money, or a smaller bank for our gambling entertainment.

I’m sure you can find great limo service on your own for $4k 😀. We’ve found that our DOUE’s are better offers as well.

Seems to be hit or miss being able to iMessage without an Internet plan. We’ve had more hits than misses the last few years.

Elite offers have increased since Covid but we started getting way more Elite offers once we booked first Elite even before Covid. We also get way more offers that include DOU everywhere since booking our first Elite. We stay away from Premier or Ultras (don’t offer DOU everywhere) and only do Elite or other offers with DOU everywhere and they keep coming.

And it’s not really in fine print. My perfect balance offer (FDR) has this in third bullet point… - Drinks On Us! included everywhere on board the ship for you and a companion.
