  1. Within about 2 weeks before sailing this is displayed & when clicking on the boarding pass option will see the things PacnGoNow described which includes the lane assigned.
  2. Thanks…we’ll be on Discovery in a few days. 😊
  3. The most recent dining options list show Sterling’s on Sapphire and Churrascaria on Diamond so it appears that the Diamond’s deck plans correctly show the Churrascaria‘s location & they forgot to remove Sterling’s from the list. https://www.princess.com/content/dam/princess/corporate/pdfs/restaurants-dining-venues-on-board.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf On their Specialty Dining webpage Sterling’s is not listed & for Churrascaria it states this: “Available on Diamond Princess® and coming soon to Sapphire Princess®” https://www.princess.com/en-us/ships-and-experience/onboard-experience/food-and-dining/specialty-restaurants
  4. Does anyone have any Mexico experiences for bringing water onshore? In the past, we have brought our refillable Brita filter water bottles onshore…does it have to be a sealed bottle of water now?
  5. Hope you can view your OBCs…it’s always good to see it in advance. 👍
  6. They are not on the app & to see that information you need to sign in to the Princess website & go to the Cruise Personalizer. There you can check under Payments, in the Travel Summary and at the bottom of the Onboard Services options. If I recall correctly, some travel agent’s OBC’s are not displayed until you get on the ship where you can see it in your onboard folio.
  7. I’ve read that Sun has a fixed time dining room & another dining room for anytime…sounds like a great idea to me! 👍
  8. Last year Oceania created Simply More cruise fares that added tour only credits and a beer/wine package at lunch & dinner. We don’t want those add ons however since they eliminated standard fares we likely won’t sail with them again. Of course prices increased by adding those things that we don’t want & I don’t want to see Princess to do something similar.
  9. I tried to watch it once but was unsuccessful & only seen a video recording. We’ll be nearing Cabo on the 5th so won’t be watching it from the ship. ☺️
  10. If it’s like too much of her overhyping things, the announcement might not be any “MAJOR news”. Unlike the previous SVP of Sales who didn’t prevent non travel agents from viewing his webinars, she has restricted her webinars to TAs only…why does she block passengers from learning about info that affects us? 🤔
  11. Go to this Princess Specialty Dining webpage where you will find menus. https://www.princess.com/en-us/ships-and-experience/onboard-experience/food-and-dining/specialty-restaurants
  12. The article I shared in post #58 has info from a travel writer who went to Spellbound. Although the dinner was not included in his experience he did describe more about it including writing: “Guests will start the evening with dinner in the Horizons Dining Room, choosing from a menu not found elsewhere on board”. Also in the screenshot posted by ‘azbirdmom’ dress pants and blazer with a collared shirt & tie are allowed in addition to a suit & tie.
  13. Yes…sadly it was destroyed in the fire like so many other memorable places in Lahaina. 😢
  14. Yes…they set aside a section at the aft end of the buffet.
  15. Based on the Princess dining options PDF these are the casual dining options: Saltydog Gastropub Vines Steamers Seafood (pop-up) Planks BBQ (pop-up) https://www.princess.com/content/dam/princess/corporate/pdfs/restaurants-dining-venues-on-board.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf
  16. A ghost pianist and color-changing cocktails: Inside Princess Cruises' hidden magic club https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/cruises/2024/03/26/inside-spellbound-magic-castle-princess-cruises/73027713007/
  17. Thanks…we’ll be sailing on Discovery soon…how did you learn about it? From your waitstaff? Would you know if a Winemakers Dinner is available? I’ve enjoyed the $45 Silverado version in the Wine Cellar numerous times but recent reports from Discovery state only the $140 Caymus version was offered in the Crown Grill.
  18. We sailed 28 days on Sky Princess in a sideways (parallel to the hallway) interior cabin around the Med & ending in Ft Lauderdale. That worked for us and provided us with more money to spend on shore excursions & other onboard spending. There is no right or wrong answer…just decisions based on each passenger’s preferences.
  19. Thanks…my coffee tastebuds liked it on Celebrity & afterwards bought Lavazza K-cups for at home. ☕️
  20. Yes…at anytime it’s open. There have been reports that the pasta options at Alfredo’s have been removed from some menus.
  21. Based on the Princess dining options, Sky’s casual dining options are Alfredo’s, Ocean Terrace Seafood and Vines…$14.99 without a package. https://www.princess.com/content/dam/princess/corporate/pdfs/restaurants-dining-venues-on-board.pdf.coredownload.inline.pdf
  22. I’ve read posts from those who ordered them for delivery but they didn’t arrive before boarding which slowed down boarding. They got a cruise card at check-in to allow them to board & then had to wait in a long line at Guest Services to have them make their Medallion…not a good way to start a cruise.
  23. Thanks…we’ll be boarding Crown in Brisbane next March which will be our first time there…hope you had a good flight & enjoyed the area. 🙂
  24. Interesting thoughts…Checking my ships found these situations to pre-purchase SD: Crown: Currently sailing on the West Coast & our cruise next year in Australia has AUD OBCs & advance booking of SD of $35/$39 USD Royal: Currently sailing in the South Pacific & our cruise next year from NZ to LA has USD OBCs & advance booking of SD is $55/$63 USD which are actually AUD prices. Thus for me the Crown fits your thoughts about prices being based upon ships current locations however that does not apply to Royal. So there appears to be no reason other than it’s another app glitch that needs to be fixed.
