  1. You may try the app onboard also. Lots of useful things there. You can order drinks, and food anywhere on ship. You can find travel partners(Note they have to accept you unless in the same cabin) Kinda fun to do the saftey drill at a bar also! 😉 You will need to report to your muster station and scan your medallion. If in your cabin you can do a lot of this from the TV.
  2. We had 1 in the closet on Sapphire 9/24 sailing.
  3. I would like to comment that the food on this sailing was a pleasant surprise. Everything we had in a dining room was very good. Buffet was ok also, they just ran out of a few odd things like tomatoes and cucumbers on the salad bar.
  4. You can, Charge the amount you want to your room on the machine. Spin once or twice. Press cashout and go to the cashiers window to get the cash.
  5. Just off Sapphire. I had 2600 points, and got an offer for 600$ free play. My wife had 6200 and got an inside cabin offer with plus pkg and 200$ free play. We also got various snacks, a bottle of Brut champagne, and a steak house dinner. All of this was from casino on board the ship. I expect better offers from princess casinos via email in the next few weeks.
  6. The staff has a map, plus they will walk you around to the available loungers.
  7. Remember if you do get the free cruise offer it is good for up to 3 sailings. We plan to book a B2B when we get our next offer.
  8. These are 7.99 on Amazon. What I carry to avoid the paper straws. Steel Straws
  9. There are several options for food. I have always found the buffet to be ok to very good. There are several other choices for caual dining, Pizza by the slice at the pool, Hamburger Hotdog grill by the pool, Ice cream by the pool, Most ships have the International Cafe, This has pastries, sandwich's, chicken salad(Excellent!) assorted savory pies, lots of deserts, and soup. Note coffee shop charges for the coffee and teas. Also several ships have Alfredos Pizza, or GiGi's on the newer ships. Last but not least is room service. This is usually pretty good. I really would try dining room at least once. Lots of good stuff there.
  10. Remember there is a dining room open for lunch from 12pm to 1:30. Deck 6 midship usually.
  11. It will be the Lotus spa pool for us. Wife needs stairs to get in and out.
  12. The travel summary is enough though. Just bring it, your ID, and any required covid docs and they will do everything at the port for you. Including giving you a medallion.
  13. Yep, tell us which ship you are sailing and we can give you details. As a rule the deck 6 midship dining room is open 12pm to 1:30pm. Lots of other places to eat also.
  14. I would like to see some late night breakfast choices.
  15. What about a folding travel electric wheel chair. Folds no bigger than a stroller. This will be for Cabo San Lucas if it matters.
  16. rheathslc. I think we will go with a land trip to Mexico as a replacement. Nice to see someone from Salt Lake. I lived there for 10 years when I was growing up.
  17. I think there was a custom option last time I was there. You could put whatever they had on your pizza.
  18. My question is will Princess give us at least 30 days notice?
  19. Watching this also. Sailing Sapphire 9/24.... Maybe.
  20. The rumor I hear on the Diamond was crew shortage. So maybe they will combine Diamond and Sapphire crew and we will sail.
  21. We are booked on the Sapphire 9/24. We are planning an alternative if this gets cancelled. May just do a land trip to Puerto Vallarta.
  22. I would also like to know what Downtown Puerto Vallarta is Like. If we want to go to downtown center for lunch. Condition of sidewalks etc, Restaurants close to shops? Also if we rent a scooter would it be feasable for her to use it downtown?
  23. It happens. Scooter will not fit in a standard cabin door. Princess is unlikely to say anything about it.
  24. We are sailing 9/24 on The Sapphire. We have an overnight stop in Cabo. We would like to go downtown and have dinner, and maybe walk around a bit. Look at a shop or 2. My wife can walk short distances, but anything over 1/3 mile or standing more than 10 minutes is an issue. My question is How far is the distance from where the boat from the ship docks to the taxi's? Also what are sidewalks like in Downtown Cabo? Ramps? Smooth street crossings?
