While on those snacks! They are usually OK but on a recent sailing in concierge class, I was puzzled initially figuring out if it was chocolate covered cockroach or is it something made from plastic. So I requested our room attendant (who brought them in every afternoon) that we are opting out of this "perk" and to bring it in on the days she sees shrimp cocktail or cheese and crackers. For the entire sailing after that we got plate full of shrimp cocktail (not just 3 or 4 pieces, but a plate full) and cheese with crackers.

Is everyone still bringing their vaccination cards?
Arzeena replied to 8esther8's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Everytime we went to Bonaire, after cruise startups, they wanted to see proof of vaccination (last time was early October) as we got out of the dock. It could be your card, a copy of the card or the app. So yes, we do/will carry some proof. Mask is always in pocket book and just as well, because a church we visited in St Kitts requested we put it on. We complied. Not discussing what we think, just replying to the OP's question. -

Sharing Ship Christmas Decorations

For the pictures I posted above of the Anthem's tree, I forgot to add that they had a nice little "Tree Lighting" ceremony (and a turkey pardoning) that evening. I really enjoyed it. -
Very sorry this happened. I wish you good health and lots of strength to get through this.

Anthem vs. Other RCI ships - your thoughts?
Arzeena replied to whateverkimme's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It probably is the "sailing". It was a Thanksgiving holiday sailing, hence the crowds. We have been on the Anthem at many times and were likely on the same sailing (since you mentioned you just got off). Where the Solarium is always popular and pretty packed, I think we feel things are less crowded when it is not a holiday sailing. -

Days before trip to out in C&A gift requests
Arzeena replied to topnole's topic in Royal Caribbean International
No, we never call. The gifts are always left in our cabin. On our Anthem cruise last week, the Loyalty Ambassador sent a letter to our cabin and we had to fill it out and leave it at his desk. The letter was manly to show what they are currently out and what we can choose instead. -

We just got off the Anthem. For this sailing: The breakfast was in the Chic dining room on deck 3 from 6.30 am to 8 am. No crowds to battle since it was only for the Key. You could disembark any time if you had luggage assistance: that is they take your bags the night before and you collect it in the terminal. They will give you a Key tag instead of a number unless you request one. After breakfast we were asked to come to Bolero's where we were escorted out immediately by a representative holding a Key sign. It was a separate line (probably the suites line) and there were perhaps 2 people in it at that time. On embarkation the lunch was also in the Chic dining room with a limited Chops menu. I found it pretty good, and no dodging people with full plates like in the buffet. They collected our hand luggage at lunch chek in and they were in our cabin when we went up. A small fruit basket was in our cabin with a card that said "For our Key Passengers''. They did check us in and board us in the Suite line. There were not many people in the line/suite area. We boarded around noon. Hope I answered your questions.
