  1. That is an awsome price for a 12 nighter in a balcony, for the Serenade. Just have to work out some date kinks before we decide.
  2. We go to any specialty dining venue after boarding and have them re arrange the reservations, so D + BOGO can be used on the days it can be used (day 1 or 2) and the package reservations go for later days. Some people suggested to pre book individual restaurants you plan on going to, in cruise planner and then when you go let them know that you are using BOGO or TA's specialty dinner voucher and they will refund the difference as OBC or however you booked. Both ways to do this have worked for us. When and where are you cruising? I am very happy to see that you finally feel comfortable cruising.
  3. With a couple of new venues, I felt it was very much like a wider version of the Anthem, having been on both. I loved it.
  4. Loved it!❀️ Would definitely book again. Quantum plus class and felt like a wider version of Anthem. I like the Oasis class, no doubt, but I like the Quantum class way better. Just a matter of preference.
  5. If this helps you predict price ups and downs for the sales: ($5.99 is great for soda package). Currently soda pkg $7.99. Internet plus soda is $18.99....for our Jan and March sailing. Coco pass was $88 for March sailing. Internet for Jan and March is $1 up this morning at $14.99 Blue Lagoon Dolphin experience was $99 and Stingray was $57 for Nov sailing. Will revisit on Cyber Monday unless I read something new. I am eyeing that Serenade sailing and one other. I love that ship. I want to go before that lovely old lady sails the world cruise and gets "tired" or develops gut problems.🀣🀣
  6. Cruise Planner Update: I was just able to log into cruise planner and print out the order history and check prices. Soda pkg for two of my cruises was $7.99 (so far). Bev Pkg was $65. No discount on excursions I was interested in, except for Coco Beach Club Pass . I understand CP prices are different for different sailings. Of course this was short lived and the cruise planner went sailing again within minutes!πŸ€” I will not complain because I was able to book what I wanted for the lower price, but I will join in saying that their IT really sucks! I am having the same problem with Celebrity's cruise planner, not that anything is at a lower sale price there in the cp and our cruise prices have jumped.
  7. Try the App. I just purchased it from the App. which worked (for once!!! 😁)
  8. Please check your credit card charges. I "seemed" to be having that an issue, but the cc was already charged and charged twice.
  9. "Cruise Planner" came back on from it's "gone sailing" message. It keeps zoning out though. I was able to book the Voom Surf and Stream for $13.99 for two of our cruises. Debbie check out your 12/4 cruise. I was also able cancel and rebook a watter bottle package at a lower price. There was not much on sale in shore excursions that we were interested in looking at. As for lower cruise prices. Nada for our bookings I checked.
  10. I think it is the amount of people trying to log into the servers and they are crashing. Plus Royal must have been trying to desperately increase the price back up again in between 🀣 Cruise Planner has been "sailing away" for a long time now on all my cruises.
  11. Sorry about that. Hopefully she will feel better soon. How nice of your son to take care of her.....Mom trained him well πŸ˜‰πŸ˜and he must have also learnt from Dad. And again Congrats to all on the nuptials.
  12. Yes actual card. Mine is usually left with the papers in the cabin and once there was a note to collect it at cafe promenade, where the guy had a list of precruise coffee card purchases and checked my name off that list.
  13. Definitely take it try it out. Sometimes their left hand says something and the right hand gives a different story.
  14. Not anymore or I shall i say very uncertain. I used to carry it over every year from the shorter Anthem cruises to the Serenade or Jewel. But since last Nov was told that it cannot be carried over. I could not carry it over on the Odyssey. It also could depend on the ship (?) The Anthem baristas in the WJ said I can carry it over. The ones in the Promenade said no carry overs now, have to use it up. So I tried on the Odyssey and it was no carry overs. They took the old card, tore it up and gave me a new one, charged $31 plus grats.
  15. Thank you. I am glad I helped. Yes the white vendor tents are there. You can catch many tours from there. The ferry dock is exactly where you described it. It seemed much closer to walk to than in previous times....but I am sure that is just my imagination. πŸ˜‰There is a ticket office where they give you a wrist band as your return ticket. Very helpful workers to guide you. I saw an "amusement park ride" in the parking lot beyond the ticket office, which opened in the evening. And the public restrooms in the port area were immaculately clean (at least when I went). I did not have to deposit any coins to use the bathrooms.
  16. We visited Martinique on the Celebrity Equinox in the end of October. We have been there many times before and have always loved it. This time we first walked around town. Most stores were closed. Some restaurants and cafes were open or opening up since this was early on in the morning. The local guides informed us that most will open for lunch and if we keep walking past their McDonald's we would come to something like a restaurant/cafe row. We will try that next time. We walked to St Louis Cathederal and there was a Sunday mass going on. The mass was in French. It was great hearing a mass in French and not quite understanding but feeling one with the people. After that we walked around a bit, looked at some historic buildings and browsed around a grocey supermarket which was quite "up to date". We then walked back near the dock and got on to the noon ferry for Trois Islet. The ferry was packed like sardines. It seemed like an "Equinox exclusive ferry" LOL. We got off at the Marina and walked around town there. Love the ambiance of that town. More things were open. Lots of cafes and restaurants, lots of tourists. Most stores that I asked at accepted US dollars. We walked up to Hotel Bakoua and to use their beach. We have had great memories at the Bakoua. We then had a delicious French lunch buffet at their terrace restaurant. They had a lovely Caribbean band and people were dancing. The views from the restaurant were excellent. Had a great relaxing day. Then back to the ferry. There were local guides for help, and all types of tours can be booked right at the port.
  17. I loved it. It was bliss. It was very comforting. Now I don't know about the couples, I booked one for myself.
  18. I saw that! Hop on board Debbie! And you have a great Thanksgiving too!!!!!!πŸ₯° We got the Key on this cruise because it was $18 but when I check in my CP the current price of the internet is what I posted before.
