  1. Well, that does qualify as food, just not food I'd want to eat! Thanks for the info.
  2. Some captains opt to change ship time to port time. Some do not. No way to know before boarding.
  3. Considering these for stay in Jan. 2024. Usually stay at Hyatt Convention Center in FLL, but it is so expensive in Jan. Is there anywhere walkable to get food from either or both of these properties, please? Or do either have any food options in house?
  4. I also noticed the largest number of children and teens I have ever seen on Celebrity. We too are ex-RCI cruisers who switched in Dec. 2017. I didn't hear about the dry dock, but I imagine this will be just before she goes to Europe for the summer season.
  5. Agree with this. My husband and I can have all we want to eat for less then a total of $50. We share some dishes.
  6. 1. yes 2. yes. It's all a la carte. 3. no fixed menu 4. yes 5. same
  7. It is now back to only 1 wine each on embarkation. In any case, I agree with others. Both of you just pay as you go.
  8. Glad you like the Haslinger. Thanks for the input. I've read good things about Lewis, so look forward to seeing him next week. Any "Beyond the Podium" presentations?
  9. You can order a grilled cheese sandwich from the children's menu in the MDR.
  10. Please report back on what champagne is available by the glass. I like Cattier, but have read lately it is Haslinger, about which I know nothing. Also, who is the CD please? My last 3 cruises on EQ it was Pete. Hope for someone new next week.
  11. Terry, can you tell us what other changes are in the Luminae menu, if you have time, of course. What ship please?
  12. In Ft. Lauderdale on Equinox, the walk off with luggage group usually starts about 7:30. If you are concerned about a flight time, be aware that the airport is only about a 15 minute drive away. And taxis are waiting in line at the port.
  13. That's what we do in Luminae also. Love my veggies!
  14. I believe you can also get fries from children's menu.
  15. I understand the transfer is booked. However, a taxi or Uber is faster and cheaper and the transfer can be cancelled if the OP wishes.
  16. There's port gnocchi in Sushi on 5 now? I've only ever seen chicken and have eaten there many times.
  17. In past cruises on EQ, there was typically ballroom dancing in Sky Lounge around 10 PM or so. Maybe not every night. There is canned music at bar opening time, which is typically 4 PM. Yes, to the dinner reservations. Go to any of the specialty restaurants as soon as you can after boarding.
  18. What is a shower tower, please? I have been in Aqua and recall extra body jets.
  19. Thanks, MaryLou. I tried to read a book about Buddhism 30 years ago and didn't get past the opening statement, "Life is sorrowful". However, I would give some of these a try.
  20. I forgot to mention the live orchids in women's restrooms. My first cruise on X that just seemed so classy to me.
  21. The above mentioned breakfast in Tuscan is for Elite and above CC members only, and no charge. Tuscan Grill is a great choice if you want lots of different foods. No limit on number of apps, salads, soups, etc. The meatball appetizer serving is huge! The steaks are usually done just right and we share a lobster pasta dish to go with the steaks. The pistachio and chocolate cream brulee is to die for. As for hangouts, varies. My favorite bars are World Class, Sky Lounge and Ensemble in the evenings. Al Bacio is our favorite for coffee during the day.
  22. Were there any "Beyond the Podium" events and if so, what please? There were none on our last EQ cruise in May. On past cruises these have been a highlight.
  23. Crew and different music venues and styles.
