this ... booked the mdr on SUN P yesterday for the dress-up, picture night on our cruise. We took 5:30

and there used to be coffee cards ...

and I'm not sure we would sail if traditional was all that was offered in the mdr. Hated it the one time we had it on The Big Red Boat - seated with another family - yuck - just not me at all...

from a former SE Tennessee ... we were on the CB over Thanksgiving 2 years ago. The ship was packed - over the 100% double occupancy (3 and 4 people in a cabin). Had the typical Turkey. dressing. potatoes. gravy. etc. 2+ hours to eat each night in the mdr - and we sat at a 2 top but were treated as a 8-10 top with the other 2 tops around us. Crooners packed every night, finally found a single stool at the bar, I stood behind her, which is certainly no big deal to me. had some OBC, so waited to get onboard to book Specialty dining - big mistake - only able to book Sabatini's on opening night, at their time of 7:30 or so. No other openings any night and no Crown Grill at all. (waiting for blah, blah, blah, suite, casino, blah, blah, blah, never had a problem booking onboard, blah, blah, blah, longer cruises, eating after 7:30) Does that apply to this cruise - you decide... Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the cruise? Actually OK - we hung in Vines at the bar - no problem getting drinks. Ordered off app to cabin multiple times - only one dropped, not delivered. I ordered 2 cabs and a chard one day, took the chard down to my wife freshening up some clothes - major points for that gesture. CB is just not for us anymore, unless major sale out of Port Canaveral starting in the fall, I believe. Just be prepared

all days - 2 beers, unopened, 2 Pelligrino, 2 Regular waters - all on 'her' account ...😉 usually more than once per day. works for us

refundable OBC I don't like , but can live with until I get the check (4-6-8? weeks). We don't need OBC with the Premier package. Might use some legitimately in the casino, maybe not.

well, finally able to book specialty for our mid-October cruise, but the app did NOT recognize the Premier dining credit, so was charged $90 for 2 for The Catch to our card on file. I immediately cancelled, so now have a "pending" charge and credit on our card. Final payment not due until end of July, IF that matters If we pay and get on the ship, will the charge be refunded to our card on file? If not, is the OBC refundable?

what would you like instead? never really considered trivia as 'entertainment'...

nope, sorry - back in the day - went to guest services / printout about 11:00 or so the last night - got printout, all good .... slipped the 'final' folio under the door during the night - with an additional $40 bar charge - we had the BSE2DG at the time, so I know it wasn't valid . Got it taken off at GS, but it took awhile for them to look thru the 'paper slips' that used to be generated for drinks.

and even that doesn't always work ... been there, done that, waited in line ...

I am going to set aside a DAY this week to deal with it - and will prolly do the same as we want to do Catch and the Umai Terr....pay if needed, try to take care of on board, refund to credit card, or even refundable credit check mailed - looks like trash mail, blah, blah, blah

I guess we are still on hold for the SUN P until after June 17th for our mid-October cruise? App still showing me as "blue" - chat was no help at all - escalated - yeah right website - booking already taken (or something like that) Final payment - End of July ... It's only a 5 day cruise so I know booking the Specialty dinners included with Premier could fill up fast for us lowly Cat DA ** NOT in a SUITE, NOT on a casino - so no need to post about how always been able to book on board, blah, blah, 7:30, blah, blah, blah - 10 day plus cruises, blah, blah

Pro tip - get a couple of double shots the night before and hav in your cabin for the next morning

and unlike the PLUS and Premier packages - both passengers in the same cabin, if applicable, don't have to purchase the same selections

the Princess value of my Premier package is $1,174 for my 5 day cruise. the Princess value of my CA is $80 80 / 1174 = 6.8% 6.8% x $80 = $5.44 CA or about $1.09 per day per person allocated to CA that's the pure allocated maths

So you don't know either ... I was looking at my travel summary for the Princess value of the perks including the in my case $16 per day for the CA. that $16 as a percentage of the total Princess value is "X". then take "X" times the $16 pp per day?

how much of my $80 per person per day for Premier package is 'off the books' then?
