  1. One was delivered to my room (outside of my door). Have no idea why I was randomly selected. Easy find (lol). My waiter was given several on my last cruise by another guest. He was having so much fun with them. They DO bring a smile to many.
  2. First, I have to get on a cruise with you. Someday.
  3. It is critical to weight balance a helicopter. I would call the tour company and ask what you should do now that the excursion is paid for and sold out. You may need to cancel your reservation. I made reservations with a helicopter tour in Kauai. I made sure to let them know that I needed to be on the equipment with "Ernie" as recommended by another office. I was assured that I would be booked with him. Got to the terminal...and inquired again. Yes and we were all put on a bus out to the helicopter. On the way out, I asked the bus driver and he said...NO... To "fix" this, they took my entire group and exchanged helicopter so that I could fly with "Ernie". The group was balanced. Not the same as your situation, but hopefully you can either keep checking the excursions, call Princess and have them note the account, get on board the ship and check in with the excursion desk, and/or hope someone cancelled. You should have time once on board to cancel unless Juneau is your first port stop and you don't have enough hours to cancel. Good Luck.
  4. I have organized many Meet and Greets, have "helped" in others, and have just attended some. I always appreciate the person who has taken the time to really pull it together. It is a lot of work. Most passengers who attend have been active on the Roll Call so it is nice to put faces to names. Most passengers are friendly and willing to share what they know. There are always a few that insist on being negative and I applaud the organizer and/or staff member that keeps the meeting orderly.
  5. Look for the little square with the arrow above it. Click on it... https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205751#:~:text=Your PDF opens and automatically, you set up iCloud Drive. Thank you for taking the time to explore this for all of us.
  6. Interesting the Chrome "blocked" the download. As far as the coupons go: the bottle of wine on the first night at a Specialty dining is nice, if you don't have a beverage package. Standard, over priced wine. The Casino Coupon is okay, but you have to spend/play out $20 first. The rest are rather useless. I tried to use the Portrait Studio coupon on my last voyage. Not available...studio was closed. You can share the coupons by first making a PDF file for them. Then upload the PDF file.
  7. On the last Meet and Greet that I organized, Jodi set it up so that the officers were there for a limited amount of time. She did not allow any questions and answers time. They did their spiel and left. She did a little bit of housekeeping and sharing of common questions. I'm on another cruise and have chosen not to organize another Meet and Greet. Doesn't seem to be one schedule. Unusual for a longer cruise. I do enjoy the "new" Officer gathering for suite passengers on Grand/GEM class ships. Very intimate and much more time to interact with the officers.
  8. I did not mention who owns the cat. I was just referring to the photo.
  9. The OCD (or is it the perfectionist) in me that screams your need to fix Oscar's orientation. That would drive me crazy.
  10. I don't eat Strawberries (just the chocolate), but my nearly minted cabin mates "seem" to be impressed. And like you, they magically appear as a separate order several times during the voyage.
  11. Between the "champagne" and canapés, it is a toss up to which is worse. I decline both. It was nice when you could substitute chocolate covered strawberries or profiteroles.
  12. What was I thinking! Whittier was THE in-transit stop. We had to walk off the ship and walk right back on. Then we explored the small town. Loved walking the shops. Met some very interesting folks. Talked to a Maui transplant for the summer working at an ice cream store. My experience was pre-Medallion days.
  13. The Grand Princess will have 2 - 3 production show during the 7 day run. They will be repeated. Princess "generally" hires the same entertainers for the season. They will board in one city and get off on the next or when it is convenient (some are local, most are flown in or alternate ships in the region). You can expect to see them repeated. The port talks/naturalists will probably be the same since they are hired for the season. I would be surprised if you don't have to get off the ship in Vancouver.
  14. If....Is it booked as Vancouver to Whittier/Whittier to Vancouver? Or as ONE voyage with different stops week 2? My best guess is that it is a 7 day cruise back to back. IF such....then the entertainment will be the same. Weather is not defined. It could have a heat wave or a cold front. Best to check a couple of weeks before your cruise for 10 day forecast.
  15. My thoughts/concerns/questions are the same. What would prevent me (not that I would ever do this/or book this ship) from having all of my friends and/or family from enjoying the secluded cabana area.
  16. Mis-named (as in most things). The Grand Class/GEM ships (except the Grand) have access to Thermal Suites (hot stone beds and saunas). The Regal Class ships have a small print disclaimer (not available). They do have the "Enclave" I believe? Not complimentary to Suite Passengers.
  17. Princess has a really strange place to select Standard or Plus/Premier. It is when you first enter the search window...yes, when you are setting your filters.
  18. The casino will be closed on the overnight stay in Quebec. It will not open until you are out of the St. Lawrence River and then some (an hour or more).
  19. Just curious…is approval in time to make adjustments to air fare? Could be cost prohibitive if approved while on your cruise.
  20. @runner2013 Thank you so much for returning to your thread frequently. I am intrigued by this subject. I am hoping for the best possible outcome. I forgot...has "friend" ever cruised before?
  21. There are very few flights from Quebec City to Montreal. Either early morning or mid/late afternoon. Agree with customs and immigrations if getitng off early.
  22. I am not familiar with Medicare Advantage plans. Medicare denied my claims but my secondary picked up everything except the medical history charge. AON picked that up.
  23. If you purchase this for the cruise, make sure she has a few lapse for practice. When I had my knees replaced (at the same time), I had to pass muster with my PT. Doubt Medicare will pick up the cost unless prescribed by a doctor. Even then, may only spring for a standard walker (I tried).
  24. I DID see a doctor. Actually one of the best doctors I’ve run across outside of my network. Not that it matters, but he was from Malaysia with quite a sense of humor. As usual, the nurse did all the pre-visit protocols. He even made a house (cabin) call to check on a medication I had brought with me on the trip but didn’t take it with me to the med center.
  25. Air Canada cancelled my flights on EZ Air. Princess EZ Air worked with me to accommodate my travels. To be honest, I had to do a lot of working with them to get back. Unfortunately, they could not get me home on a good schedule, but I did get home without any additional monies. Even the flight I booked directly with Jet Blue was changed 3 times. Each change pushed the flight back a couple of hours. I wanted to arrive by 6 PM. Arrived a little after 8 PM. The difference is that I purchased Jet Blue in November for a cruise in July. I had to pay Jet Blue immediately upon booking.
