As far as I have read (and I admit that I skip around), this question has not been verified by anyone (currently or in the past) in a suite. Almost every ship should have implemented this pricing by now since it is the end of August. I can't believe not a single suite passenger...without a package, has not tried to call Room Service once for something. Still waiting to hear.

Much is speculation. Maybe if you told us which cruise you were considering, it would let us know how much time you had to process your passport. Is the cruise next month or next year? Are you a born American or a naturalized American? Is it a closed loop or international?

Has Princess resumed the tour of the ship?
cr8tiv1 replied to Nhsaltshaker's topic in Princess Cruises
Caribbean Princess had the culinary tour after the demonstration on the last sea day. Jody, cruise director, did a presentation in the Explorers Lounge on a sea day. She had slides showing all the crew areas (in place of Ultimate Ship's Tour)...for free. It was enough for me since I can't do the ladders anymore. -
Princess Excursion: Monet’s Garden - advice please
cr8tiv1 replied to nikitty's topic in Princess Cruises
Is there a twin tour that is wheelchair accessible? You might care to look into that one. Maybe they would have a few more accommodations or modify the time. -
They have English Breakfast tea. I know Princess was dinged for not having really ht water. I think that has improved. Not sure since I am not a tea drinker. You can always bring a tea bag from the buffet and ask for hot-hot water. Or bring your own tea bag.

They did not replace. I am sure they are rarely checked. @AZjohn - Drop the towel the next time.

You can request: coffee tea bags of your choice hot water/lemon

Sapphire Princess "Currently not Available"???
cr8tiv1 replied to LACruiser88's topic in Princess Cruises
Princess rethinking latest changes? Or more changes to come? Grand Princess not available. -
Yes, got in, but voyages I constantly check are now saying "Currently Not Available".

Worse...mold And that was an isolation cabin. You would think they would be more diligent regarding sharing communal items.

I have one of those coupon "book" coupons. "$10 in casino free play when you spend $20 in the casino." Do I go to casino cage and turn in my coupon? Do they add $10 to my $20 that I have to place? Do I have to "lose" all my $20 before their $10 kicks in?
-
No printed ticket. All electronic saved to your CASINO account. Would someone explain free casino credit? Say I have a coupon for $10 if I “buy” $20. Which gets used first? Do I have to lose the $10 to get back my $20?

Best oceanview cabins on Island Princess and Caribban Princess
cr8tiv1 replied to Flossygirl's topic in Princess Cruises
If: You don't mind the walk You don't mind motion You don't mind people during the day. The Caribbean Princess has some nice forward Ocean View cabins on Deck 8. (E101-E114). During the day, there are some people who walk on the Promenade Deck then climb the stairs to the bow of the ship. Most do not bother to look into the cabins. At night, they close the steps. There will be no traffic. You really won't have a "view" of the ocean, but it is unobstructed (walkway between you and the metal railing). I don't know if the Island Princess has these forward cabins. I heard there was a secret door that allows you out to the bow of the ship. My preference would be the Caribbean Princess Plaza Deck Ocean View. P301 to P336. The higher the number, the less foot traffic since the hall dead ends in to the International Cafe or Vines. I do not care for the Island Princess. Love her sister ship the Coral. Do be careful not to book a quad cabin. I think the bunk beds drop from the ceiling, but not sure. -
Konnichiwa Japan (is welcoming home the Diamond Princess)
cr8tiv1 replied to cr8tiv1's topic in Princess Cruises
There are lots of food courts at all of the indoor shopping malls: Queens Square near Intercontinental Grand, Yokohama The one near the Sheraton Yokohama One mall has food from Hawaii (Leonards, Eggs and Things, etc). World Porters Mall I don't remember which one has what. Normally, I would provide you links, but my computer is not behaving well. -
Best oceanview cabins on Island Princess and Caribban Princess
cr8tiv1 replied to Flossygirl's topic in Princess Cruises
On the Island, Deck 6 (Fiesta) has some nice new Ocean View cabins. The higher the number the better location (same for Diamond and Coral Princess). If price doesn't matter, Window Suites on the Caribbean and the Gand Princess, Deck 6 (Fiesta) are the best in the Fleet (in my opinion). Avoid low numbers on the Plaza Deck on Grand Class (and similar sister ships). -
I have heard, from more than one source, that Apple products are dual voltage. I do not have the same confidence for androids. I consider their "power brick" to be the "converter". "The USB-A charger shipped with iPHones takes any input voltage between 100 and 240 V and outputs the standard 5V charge used by any USB device (whether that's an iPhone, and Android, a game controller, set of headphones..." Some random Google search.

When there are room changes, Princess will note the folio and everyone will know where all passengers are. Plus they have the medallion tracking everyone. This is a long shot alternative. I'm sure, in the long run, not being next to each other is not really an issue.

Booking a 21 Day Europe Cruise (3-7 day Segments) Suite Benefits
cr8tiv1 replied to shirazcruiser's topic in Princess Cruises
That is just not right (#5). Thank you for verification from Princess Guest Relations. As far as the 6 mini-bars with the Plus Package, you could make some crew very happy with re-gifting the liquors and drinks. After all, you will also receive 2 bottles of water every day. I always ask my crew what liquors they prefer and exchange accordingly. With the above $5 statement, that means you could "technically" be charged $5 x 6 minibar calls to room service to exchange your choices. -
Emerald Versus Discovery 15 Night Hawaii Cruise
cr8tiv1 replied to Solara's topic in Princess Cruises
One full day in Honolulu would be enough for most passengers. Skipping Hilo would be a no go for me. The Discovery (and any Royal Class ship) is too big a ship for a Hawaii cruise. There are, at least, 10 sea days,. That's a lot of passengers STUCK on a ship. The Discovery would be crowded with no where to go. I like the Grand Class ships for this reason. Still very crowded. In addition, the Royal Class ships have no promenade nor enough public spaces to accommodate everyone on a sea day. I wonder where they would hold ukulele and hula classes since the Royal Class ships don't have a Club Fusion or Wheelhouse???? -
It all depends if the device is dual voltage. A maintenance supervisor once explained...most times...if it has one of those big "box" between the unit and the plug, that it is "probably" dual voltage. Look at the tags/labels. Most medical devices are. ALL Apple devices are (except maybe the watch). Most Anker products are. If not, yes, you will need a converter as well as an adapter unit.

Old 60 (or 50), new 60, new 80..... Confusing!!!!
cr8tiv1 replied to TopofWorld's topic in Princess Cruises
Plus $50 is a great price. To upgrade to Premier is $30 per day/per person. Plus $60 will get you room service/ocean view and casual dining. Is an additional $20 x 2 per day worth 2 specialty dining, one photo, and reserved seating? A photo, I think, is $25. -
Once Princess assigns a stateroom, they really don't care. You will have to camp out by the old room. Maybe even print out a nice offer and slide it under the door or tape it to the door. It's a long shot. Hope you get there before they start to settle in. These passengers probably booked a guarantee and thrilled to have a nice location. Offering to "switch" to an upgraded room for free might just do it. This is just how I think.ass Having Princess make this switch is too complicated for Princess. They would have to contact inventory department to do any passenger switching. I never understood why they don't just skip the folks who mark NO UPGRADE and give the upgrade to the guarantee passenger. Makes no sense to me.

I went on Pride of Aloha with my daughter/husband on their honeymoon (haha). Took my former mother-in-law and my other daughter/husband. They did take a "formal" honeymoon to France and England a bit later.
-
You could always offer the upgrade to the person who took your daughter’s cabin. I’m sure they would be happy to move. Getting medallions reprogrammed will not be an issue.
