  1. it's gone to depend on the individual bar's inventory AND whether or not there is any of the listed even on board.
  2. Has anyone seen a reliable 2023 dry dock schedule for NCL ships and if so, please share. Of particular interest to me is the Breakaway. Thank you.
  3. It can take up to 24 hours after check in before eDocs are available.
  4. For those that are not vaxed, embarking in Rome but stopping in a couple of Grecian ports, are proctored tests such as those from eMed and others acceptable?
  5. Confused as to whether or not we must complete the ED Card for our Aruba stop. We are in port of 8 hours. If I understand the information in the app, it states that we only need to have an ED Card if on island for 24 hours or more. Anyone have recent information or advise that they might share?
  6. Fantastic update as always. Sailed on the Epic in July out of Barcelona. Found it interesting that they did not have any sort of alcohol or tobacco for sale from their shops. Is that a European restriction or ?
  7. On the Epic in July, there was absolutely no Captain Morgan. They had something called Kraken instead but certainly not the same. Haven bartender stated that NCL was no longer stocking it in any of their bars.
  8. At 21 days out, you'll be able to check in thru the NCL website and choose your arrival time. Actual boarding does not typically begin until 1130am or so. First to board are Haven, elevated Latitudes status, etc.
  9. One might consider how much time would I actually be spending there versus elsewhere either on or off the ship. Another consideration for me would be where the itinerary is taking me, at what time of year and what the weather is expected to be.....
  10. With all of your Haven experience, do you know what brand of shampoo, conditioners, bar soap are currently being supplied? Are they supplied in the large bottles that hang from the wall or are they still supplied in the smaller bottles as the were pre-covid? We'll be boarding the Epic in the next few weeks. Thank you.
  11. When I made the deviation, they cancelled the transfer.
  12. Best guess for penthouse/suite guests would be Cagneys on deck 7.
  13. We originally booked using the NCL air offer. We live in the U.S. and our cruise departure city is as well. All of the current challenges of flight cancellations and delays were already stressing me out and we still have 4 months before we sail. Adding to my stress level were all of the unknowns as to what airline, what departure/arrival times, layovers, etc. that NCL will eventually book us on made it even worse. Today I/we made the decision to cancel the NCL air and transfers and instead book our own nonstop air. Cost my group extra bucks obviously but having some control versus none at all has already eased the stress level somewhat.
  14. My choices would be LeBistro, Ocean Blue followed by Cagneys. Moderno, Teppanaki and LaCucina would be at the bottom of my preferences. Don't let the fancy names on the LeBistro menu sway your daughter's decision. In addition to seafood, Ocean Blue has other options to include a very tasty filet mignon that again, in my opinion, is as good or even better than Cagneys.
  15. Unless they have changed, the platinum dinner certificates are for either LeBistro or Cagneys with the other being for either Moderno or LaCucina.
  16. My last cruise on the Pearl was pre-Covid and we were in the Haven. There were two hot tubs in the main courtyard area. The sun deck was just upstairs and directly above the courtyard did not have a hot tub. I don't believe that there was any sort of elevator access. The Haven sun deck was only on the starboard side of the ship.
  17. All guests above the age of 2 will be required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 antigen or NAAT test (I.e. PCR) result administered by a verified third party or via medically supervised home test: Within 2 days prior to embarkation date for cruises departing from a U.S. port Within 3 days prior to embarkation date for cruises departing from a non-U.S. port
  18. No one on this page is going to be able to give you an accurate answer or provide any sort of resolution. You need to contact your TA or NCL.
  19. Aren't FCCs just wonderful to work with? The FCC that was issued is for the individual that was credited due to a previous hiccup with a cruise that was likely cancelled. These sound like partial FCCs and cannot be transferred. They must be used by the individual that they were credited to on a upcoming or yet to be booked reservation or they will be lost. And of course, they can only be used for certain items. I managed to use mine up on cruise fares, daily service charges and excursions.
  20. I always assumed that the reason for the "credit" was that they were refunding you the transfer fee from the airport to the port. By you coming in with a deviation no such transfer would be offered or included. But what do I know? Not much....
  21. Yes. When "payment" of the meal occurs after your dinner, each person will present their room keycard to the waiter to use one of their credits. If no credits exist or if diner has items not included in their dining or drink plan, costs for those items will be added to the individual's onboard account.
