I guess as long as people keep booking Oasis it will continue to lack entertainment. To me, I feel like it's another cutback. Wouldn't surprise me if they cut all the ships back on entertainment.

Before Covid it seems like the Oasis Class ships I went on had 2 production shows, 2 ice skating shows, and 2 Aqua theater shows, all different. Our last time on Oasis it only had one show per venue. Is this the new norm or is entertainment just not consistent across the fleet?

Sounds like something my brother would say. I'll have to see if he's gone on a cruise lately. But then again he lies so bad he would of told you he owned the Icon of the Seas! lol

So now instead of carrying on my case of water I'll be carrying a few pizzas and a few half gallon containers of ice cream. 😁

With all the increased prices, cutbacks on food quality, cutbacks on service, they have just about priced me out of cruising with them. I'm not crazy about Sorrentos but i enjoy it while hanging out and people watching. If they start charging for it I'll be gone over the principle of it. Cheap food should be included in fare.

I use a weekly pill divider but always have pictures of my original medicine bottles on my phone. I keep those pictures for other reasons but they're there if needed at port. I've never been asked in 15 cruises.

RC is like a furniture store going out of business. Always have some kind of sale but never a great deal. Raise prices by 40% and offer a 35% discount.

With there being so much free food, we normally visit a specialty restaurant only once and pay for the one visit.

Been a few times and don't care to go back. Not many good deals out there right now either. They go to Coco Cay, Haiti or Jamaica, all undesirable ports for us. Just came back from Cozumel but booked to go back although it's played out as well.

I've been looking for a decent cruise since getting off Oasis in January. I'm not just seeing higher prices but seeing more cruises for undesired ports like Jamaica and Haiti. I figured they must be cheaper for cruiselines to port at. The cutbacks were horrible on Oasis and there's no way I'm paying a higher rate for a subpar cruise.

I wouldn't have reserved it if it was offered on the Oasis January 15th but there was no mention of it to us at anytime.

I don't have the time at the moment to read all the posts but will read them later. I just had to comment. We were on the Oasis in January and had the same experience as the OP. I am an experienced cruiser and did my homework. I googled every week looking for any groups on this cruise. Nothing. The ship was over run with the same kind of people, I think Jews. More kids than a normal January cruise. The SB was closed for us all week so they could have their kosher food. We never seen a crowd in there as they were all in the WJ and Sorrento's. We felt like if they had the SB to themselves we should have WJ to ours.

I think they should with very few exceptions. As adults we're supposed to be responsible and follow the rules. The chairhogs that get theirs removed should have to pay for the "lost" towel as well.

Leaving this weekend on Oasis. I've heard they're closing the Solarium Bistro all week for us so that they can do some kind of special Kosher mess for special guest.

There was a large Elvis group on one of ours. Seen so many Elvis's I couldn't tell which was the real one. lol They had their events in the theater as a private event. Another cruise had some kind of gospel singing group. There were hundreds on that one as well. They had their events in the theater as well. It really made karoke good.

If it's a glass bottle wrap it in bubble wrap and make sure the cap isn't leaking. Wrap it in a thick towel and put it in your checked luggage. Good chance they won't catch it. I'm sure there's so much more than a bottle of eggnog going in checked luggage. I was sent to the naughty room over a case of water one time. lol It's not like they're going to kick you off the ship.

It's called VOOM. VOOM Surf has always been fine for us. Buy now and if the price goes down you can reprice.

Of course! Felonies as a minor don't follow you as an adult. He was probably 20 years old when it happened but was in his upper 30's when they cruised. I wasn't blaming the cruise line. The cruiselines submit the manifest to CBP and the names are run just as airports do.

Years ago a friend that was with our group was pulled in by customs. It wasn't for purchases but for a felony drug charge he received when he was younger. They searched him and his and his family's luggage. It was very surprising. That family said they'd never cruise again. lol
