  1. I did upgrade from the included wifi the first day. It wasn’t much. I was getting nowhere with the basic level. The husband was fine with the included. He is more business email and sport score. I was insta and FB
  2. If you’ve never heard of such glitches I know you don’t own in Marriott Vacation Club. Pretty sure they have a neighborhood kid computer club run their website.
  3. While my situation was different, I want to say that the group had very many folks that sound similar to you and everyone got along ok. The land portion isn’t too long and you can choose excursions that suit your own needs. I hope you’ll take the trip you planned. Alaska is a special place.
  4. How long ago did you reserve? Up to two months can just be transferred to your agent of choice for the savings by filling out a form
  5. Has this always been stated? I have never seen it written. It is was in an email about my cruise next month. what is their threshold?
  6. My first was 1989. I was 23 I think. On the Sky Princess right after it had been purchased from Sitmar. The pens still had the previous company on them.
  7. The concierge has exchanged various free bottles for me. You shouldn’t have any trouble.
  8. I missed my Ember so much last trip. Sat in bed early with my coffee in a regular cup and it was cold so quickly. I swear these are the best invention ever.
  9. That is for specialty dining venues. They open closer to your trip. If you are trying to choose Fixed Main, Fixed Late or Anytime Dining, have your travel agent add it if you have one, or call HAL reservations if you booked online to have it noted
  10. Whew. Thank you. And yes, it should not be drippy!
  11. You would so much more value from a Chase Sapphire card, Reserve or Preferred. Your 25000 points for $250 beverage card could have been a RT ticket to Hawaii. And, Chase protects you. Fraud is handled immediately. They provide $10,000 per person of travel insurance per trip, lounge access and if if book travel through their portal each point is worth 1.5.
  12. Where is the clothesline bacon?😱
  13. You could have selected from a number of sides.
  14. I think the 10% is no more. Still discounted, but not at the 10% rate
  15. I have had deck 4 aft rooms on this class of ship numerous times and I have NEVER heard anything from the dining room. The verandah is much deeper than other decks. I absolutely love deck 4 and am sorry the aft corners on it were sold out already on my next trip.
  16. My cards were not ready but the bartenders at lunch were more than happy to take the order on paper. No problem at all. Once our cards arrived they actually didn’t work. The concierge had to get new ones brought up.
  17. Ember is the best. I miss mine terribly when I travel
  18. I was told by someone here they would not work. I hoped to do the same, bring the tradition Nespresso capsules but someone said it was a different, propriety, machine. Oh I hope you are correct
  19. Yes. I’d cover my head with a pillow to speak quietly at 4 am or so. Meet him at the door when he VERY lightly tapped and just carry it in myself.
  20. Oh how I wish they were Keurig machines. They are like a Nespresso but not actually a Nespresso so we couldn’t use this pods in machine. Whatever was provided was absolutely awful.
  21. NTAH If a call comes in when I’m in a restaurant that I have to take, I run outside immediately. Your cannaletto diner was the AH
  22. I sailed on her last fall. We had a nice cruise. The food was good. We did, for the first time on a cruise, the open dining and we liked it. Chose it for next trip as well. We were in a Neptune so we had the club orange benefits. There is a separate line to enter the dining room and you are seated right away. I'm not sure how long the wait was in the other line but there were usually quite a few people. I had to ask for the Club Orange menu. It was never brought to me without asking.
