Oh no. Absolutely not. I would be slightly envious of their good fortune and admire them for getting a "good deal." Probably ask them for the name of their TA. However, I don't think most people, especially in the YC (nose in the air) discuss price.🤑

I had a couple of experiences on my last MSC cruise that still stays with me. Although we were in the Yacht Club we wanted to see what the rest of the ship was like. DH and I were walking through the buffet and I felt someone elbow me. I looked down at this little man (he came to my shoulder) and he looked back at me with such hate in his eyes. I have no idea what he thought I did to him, but I can still see his face. Another time we were at that club at the back of the ship (name escapes me now). We were at a table and another woman joined us. She got up to dance, had a drink and her purse still at the table and some man came over to take her chair. "That chair is taken, she's dancing" said I. "Well, she's not sittting in it now, is she?" he replied. I grabbed the chair from him. He did let it go and went on to grab someone else's chair, I suppose. We'll still go on MSC. But only in the Yacht Club. And now I'm re-thinking booking a last minute cruise in July. Cannot deal with out of control kids, the adults are bad enough!

I have recently read about interlopers in the YC, sneaking in or being let in by family/friends who are staying in the YC. How much of a problem is this? I recall reading about this even before the pandemic, but now it seems worse. I know Morpheus...has experienced this every time he sails in the YC. We've been in the YC three times and don't recall seeing this, although we did have a couple who asked if they could walk in with us so they could "look around" for possibly booking YC in the future (we denied their request). This was last October. Then there's the possibility of a large group (70) from Miami taking over sometime in July......just when I was considering booking.😔

Thanks. I thought all of X was Select. Good to know. We had Early Traditional (5 PM !!!) on Royal recently. Thought I would hate it, but after a few days I grew to like it. What time does Select start on Celebrity?

Celebrity only has Select, right? They do not have Traditional Early or Late, do they?

Roof is done, but still awaiting gutters and replacement of some nails. (our roof is red, and they used red nails, all but in a certain section where they must have run out and used stainless steel, and when the sun hits them they really stand out. DH is picky!) So, your Equinox cruise is the first one, right? That would be cutting it too close. The second one is almost sold out and the one leaving on the 30th makes me hurricane-nervous. I am, instead, considering MSC out of Miami, mid-July. or Biloxi. We like to gamble, too.

We were next door to this suite on Serenade and the "obstruction" was a window washing machine. Not that big. Never moved.

We are considering this cruise in the near future. I have been reading recent reviews and have some questions. Casino....someone wrote that all the penny machines were gone. If so, what were they replaced with. Cafe Al Bachio .... How are the pastries? I recently read they were the same as those served in the buffet. That would be sooooo disappointing !!!

Hi. Perhaps we'll meet.😀 We're looking at the three Equinox sailings in July (August is cutting it too close to hurricane season peak). We're waiting on a new roof (because of Ion). DH wants to be around when it goes up (to supervise....lol). Once they start, it goes pretty fast. It'll be a last minute booking, if it happens.

That's pretty funny because if I didn't ask this question here, I would probably avoid this class because to my mind Aqua = Blu and DH does not like Blu.

Thanks for replying. I know Sky Suites get all suite benefits, but these cabins are classified as "Aqua Class Sky Suites" which made me wonder. Also, I wanted to know if they were allowed to dine in Luminae, since DH does not like Blu.

Were these suites always suites? They seem to be smaller than the other suites, their size more in line with the balconies. Are they entitled to the full suite benefits? Is their restaurant Luminae or Blu?
