How is the breakfast for suites in Chops on Serenade?

What ship on RC are you considering. That makes a difference. Some of the larger and newer ships have more amenities. Like their own restaurant. Private pool deck. The smaller/older ships give you only breakfast in a specialty restaurant (like HBCruiser stated).

Requested a lounger and we received it. Ended up not using it very much. LOL

Many years ago I would have someone call and ask for Gloria. I would tell them they had the wrong number, then they would just hang up! It's the just hanging up part that used to get me so angry. Finally, one time I answered that Gloria was here, but she was too drunk to come to the phone. They never called again.😛

Yes! Drinks are included. There's a delicious Lobster Roll on the menu. Order two and put the filling in one roll.

Most of those hotels also have casinos. We took the number 10 but and hit most of the hotel casinos. I remember this because we both won at each one. This was about 8 years ago. We promised ourselves we'd go back....but haven't...;yet.

We called Security for partying neighbors on our last MSC cruise (in the Yacht Club). They did quiet down. Next night they were at it again about 3 AM.....but then they stopped the noise themselves after about 10 minutes or so.

Considering Odyssey for a Jr. Suite (the one with two bathrooms) in November. Any opinions of that category room and that time of year. We would avoid Thanksgiving week. Also, would try to get CK for dinner a few times and then some Specialty to avoid that 5 PM dinner time. What are they thinking?

Thanks for your review. I enjoyed reading it. Love that itinerary! I do think that waiting in line for your reserved table at dinner is excessive. Even though I would do my best not to be, I would be annoyed.😟

Shouldn't my Set Sail Pass have "Suite" printed on it. It's for Serenade out of Tampa, if that makes any difference.

We were on Haven Joy last year. Would certainly do it again if the price was right. A few things I didn't like though. I really don't like indoor pools. Their new Prima has an outdoor pool in the Haven, so that would be perfect. Also, the ship was very crowded once you left the Haven. However, we were during Spring Break/Easter and it was full of kids. DH just had dental surgery, so having a menu that did not change in the Haven dining room suited him just fine. He still talks about having lobster every night. You have to upgrade your drink package in order to get bottled water! Certainly did not like that.

I almost feel like I'm reading an old thread....like two or three years old. I thought that with the new way My Time was being done, it doesn't even start until 6:45. The My Time dining room is filled with early dining. When Early Dining in done, My Time starts. We have always done My Time in the past. Based on what I was reading as to the changes, I booked us in Early Traditional (Serenade). If the above were true, I would have selected My Time, since my understanding is that Early Traditional is 5 PM on my ship.😲

Maybe it depends on who you speak to. I was offered a choice and I picked water. Then he asked for DH's C&A number and said we'd get an additional two waters for him and I asked if I could make his Coke and he said I could. This was this morning.😎

I just called and was given a choice of soda or water. So I picked water and got soda for DH. Was told 2 cans each.

What happened?

In our case it was nothing. Our next Royal cruise is end of April. This time I'm calling. When should that be?
