Enjoyed your review. A few questions......I've seen various youtubes, and don't notice any champagne chilling in your stateroom upon arrival. Was there any? Also, quite a bit of OBC. Did you use it all? How? Was the OBC from your TA refundable? Thanks for the threads about the A/C. Hope we don't have that problem. I don't know if I would be able to control myself and not say something to those people with the door open. Thanks again.😀

It's been a few years since cruising MSC and I really don't recall how I got my tickets. Is the above the case? Even t hough I am checking MSC's website for my e-tickets, they will really go first to my TA and then she has to forward them to me?

I'm very happy that your a/c problem has been solved. YC Director Phil.....I'll keep that in mind for when we go. I mentioned that we once had a similar problem on a HAL cruise. It was extremely hot in our cabin. We went to our Cruise Critic Meet and Greet and luckily the Hotel Director was there. I was in a really cranky mood after a night of no sleep. He, too, whipped out his phone and by the time the meeting was over and we were back to our cabin, the room was nice and cool. We also received a bottle of wine and an invite to the most cruised HAL cocktail party for "our trouble" even though it was our first HAL cruise. So I was going to suggest the Hotel Director to you if you were still suffering today. Thank you so much for getting back to me. Enjoy the rest of your cruise!😀

Good luck with the fan request. I was looking at reviews and found a few that mentioned how warm the rooms were, both YC and non. I was looking for one in particular that upgraded his complaint from his butler and concierge to a higher level and the a/c problem was fixed, but not till the next to last day. I can't seem to find that review though. I did have this problem once on an older HAL ship......and it was miserable.

Georgia_Peaches, So happy you are enjoying MSC. One thing I want to ask (and it can wait till you post y our review), how's the A/C in your suite. I've read a few reviews that the cabins (even in the YC) were warm. We live in Florida and really need our airconditioning!.

The way I'm reading it, US citizens, fully vaccinated, no testing required. Our cruise is to the Caribbean, so that's what I focused on.

I never considered them premium.

We asked for loungers to be put on our balcony.

Are you guys speaking of OBC from MSC or from your travel agent? I thought TA OBC was not visible.

I know on MSC's website they say not until 20 days. However, we are 66 days away and someone on our sailing has already received their docs and luggage tags. The website says all of our info. is complete. We didn't do the photo, does that make a difference?

I thought MSC was the only "major" left. Did not know about Disney. But still........

We have a cruise with MSC in Oct. so we've already made final paymnet ....dang it for us too.🤢 If we had not we would have selected Norwegian...or Royal...or Celebrity.

Celebrity and Royal Caribbean have dropped testing for cruises 9 days and under.....👍
