  1. "Each get a full size bottle" Really? I had forgotten about Italian night. Do you recall what night that is? Does it conflict with anything else in the YC dining room?
  2. Here's what I did when applying for our match. This was several years ago, and since we cruise a lot of different lines we were not at the top in any one. The highest was Celebrity, but we were not yet Elite. So I applied my dh and he came back Gold. This was for our first MSC cruise. After our next cruise or so, we were Elite on Celebrity, so I then applied for myself and came back Black . So DH is listed as Gold, but I am Diamond. We get the same benefits ....the staff seems to consider both of us as Diamond.

  4. I thought the drinks in the specialty restaurants (with the possible exception of the Mexican) were included.🤔

  6. We don't usually get 10% obc....it's more like 7% on most cruises, this one was different, but I am paying for it with annoyance. I thought you were going to be sailing primarily Navigator from Cali. We're the opposite of you. Our plans since Covid are cruise to cruise. But since most cruise lines have dropped their restrictive protocols, we might just look farther ahead. Mary Ann

  9. Hi, Frank My problem isn't the amount of obc that I receive. I also receive quite a bit .... it's over 10% on this upcoming Seashore cruise...(not until October). My problem with them is that I can never reach them via email or telephone after I've committed with my reservation. Sometimes you wonder if the aggravation of not having calls, etc. returned is worth the OBC.
  10. That's fine if you have a good ta. It seems current one is either on vacation, or doesn't return phone calls or emails. I'm stuck with her for this cruise, but I'll be moving on after. Anyway, I was just trying to help.
  11. Instead of calling MSC and waiting on hold for goodness knows how long try email mscexistingreservations@msccruisesusa.com. I just did that today. Got a "we're working on it" email within the hour and my problem was resolved within two hours.😄
  12. Just received my edocs for my upcoming (Oct.) MSC cruise. This will be our third with them. Last one was in June 2019. We're still Diamond.😀
  13. Us too! I do not book any cruises during the height of hurricane season. We mostly stay put and ride it out! We were in our closet during Hurricane Charley which was a strong Cat 4 and experienced the eye passing over us. We probably would not do that again, but if we evacuate it's to someplace where we can come home and assess the damage quickly and not be on a cruise ship wondering if that hole in the roof is letting in more water.
  14. DH did not like Blu, so we booked a lot of Concierge cabins. It helped us get to Elite...which got us to Diamond on Royal C.....and also got us to Black (Diamond) on MSC.😄

  16. I filled out all the pre-cruise information for my cruise on Oct. 29 about a month ago. I did not fill out the Credit Card information because I had read it was not necessary and could be done on board. However, I have not received my e-docs. Whenever I go to MSC's website it tells me to check in at 20 days. However, many people on my cruise have already gotten their e-docs. Today there was a post that said they had the same message (20 days) but after filling out their credit card information they received their documents. So today I tried. I filled out our Credit Card info. It took for my husband, but it would not allow it to add me. Then I tried putting in the same info. for me (we both use the same CC, but have our names on our cards) and it said "invalid". What should I do.??? There is a little check mark next to dh's name on "online check in". I really would just like to get me e-docs sooner (like most people) rather than later (and have to call).
  17. My high volume cruise agency does not seem to like returning emails or phone calls.

  19. I've read a few reviews where the poster asked to dine in the regular dining room on "italian night." Stating it was more fun. Did you do this? If not, how was "italian night" in the YC restaurant?
  20. Then you didn't have any left over. I was wondering if there was a reluctance on MSC's part to give it back to y ou in cash (like Celebrity does) or put it back on your credit card. I know some people go the casino route.
