Where to then?

Allow me to put in that I really like this thread and hope it continues.

Long ago I bought a mare who was quite underweight. She greeted me lovingly when she heard me coming down to the barn with THAT treat.

When we cruised to Antarctica we had to have a statement/form from our PCP attesting to our (relative) health.

But we're 100% port/destination oriented and would never book a cruise just for the price. Well, we might decide to NOT book a cruise because of the price. Get it?

Not on Vista but we booked last Sept. and booked our SM excursions immediately.

Pre-covid and everything else we've cruised on ships with 100, 400 and 1200. Loved it. Even with 1200 I didn't get totally lost 🙂 (I have a terrible sense of direction, unless I've been somewhere before.)

It's been a LONG time since I booked everything. It seemed quite straightforward but considering how cockamamie things are these days I suppose I should consider to keep and eye on everything. Thanks.

We're so in love with Hurtigruten. I was just telling my husband we should look at a fjord cruise with them next year. And Bergen, Oslo and Copenhagen - and probably many others - have outstanding food.

It seems insane to me. Except for the top 'cabins' it was all GTY and now it's all waitlist. Our TA is in a pretty esteemed class of O TA and I don't know if she did anything. Here's the Silversea quote from our cruise: "Book by February 29th, 2024 to make sure you get the best fare and your preferred suite." So if I booked by 29 they'll make sure I get my preferred suite. Except they won't. I'm VERY disillusioned with the entire industry frankly.
