  1. I didn't notice any coughing or people saying they were sick. I saw at two ports somebody left in an Ambulance
  2. On our recent 12 day cruise on the GA shorts were allowed everywhere except LeBistro
  3. I can sympathize, on the GA 12 day their was zero soft serve. It just never made it to the ship
  4. Just off the GA after a 12 day. I remember walking thru the buffet at 11:00pm and seeing one half of one side open. Maybe closing at 9:30pm is new, that's way too early.
  5. So who all from the cruise is feeling sick? I've seen a number of reports people testing positive for Covid. Knock on wood, my wife and I are still feeling fine
  6. Just off the Getaway 12 day out of NYC. We arrived at the pier around 9:30am. They did have people checking boarding times for at least a few minutes I saw. I watched a number of people get turned away and told to come back closer to their check in time. I said we were in the Haven, showed them our paperwork and they directed us to the Haven line for security. Quickly went thru security.... yes one of the lines seemed to be for Haven only, didn't really matter because they all move fast. Haven check in at least when we sailed was almost all the way back on the left side. The Haven holding room was right across from it
  7. Just back on Friday from a 12 day on the Getaway. I'll start off by saying we stayed in the Haven and the services were great. With that said we had dinner twice with friends (Non Haven) in the regular restaurants and the service was pretty bad. The issue seemed to be just not enough staff. Our meal in three speciality restaurants was nothing to write home about. Meals in the Haven restaurant were excellent, they really need to change the menu or add some specialties
  8. We had 2-3 waiters last week getting drinks and food for the courtyard and sundeck
  9. Monday afternoon sitting on the balcony of our cruise ship I was watching this thing unfold (St Thomas). Tow boat with an airbag and two divers in the water trying to lift / move an anchor from a super yacht, I later found out was stuck. These guys are right in a channel were tenders are running back and forth from their ships to a pier. Before I started recording I saw 5 tenders almost run thru the tow line, I managed to get video of the last one being waved off..... again. Tow boat had two divers in the water, no flags up or any other devices warning boaters people were in the water. I got bits and pieces of the event, tow boat spent about 15 minutes trying everything it could to move the anchor. From what I can tell they threw in the towel, deflated the bag and left. I could here people screaming at the tenders to slow down and go around, not that the tenders could hear them
  10. Thanks Mark! It was nice meeting you also! More videos to come, keep watching my channel
  11. Lounge, courtyard and sundeck. The area is nice however we prefer the Escape since it has a retractable roof
  12. Another added bonus was when returning to the ship. Twice one of the concierge's was outside, saw us and took us right up in the elevator again. They stopped at deck 14 where our cabin was and let us get off
  13. We got home about 10:00am Friday morning. My wife picked him up at the boarder at 10:15am came home and said he needs a good bath. I ran him over to the doggie wash at 10:30am. He was bathed before I stared unpacking Lol
  14. If you are staying in the aft of the ship I agree..... or maybe not. On our recent GA cruise the only way off was the forward gangways. We were on deck 14 and it was very easy walking up to 16 then going down. The elevators always seem to be crowded
