With any luck the flight will be in the same terminal. Atlanta does have a golf cart that run from the terminal gates to the escalators to the train. There is usually a gate attendant that should be able to radio for one if needed. Last December, when the airport was less crowded, my Dad was able to make his connecting flight from Terminal A or B to Terminal D walking himself. It was a 1.5 hour layover and he was 84 at the time. One thing I do is look at current flights with my itinerary to get an idea of which terminals/gates the flights may arrive and take off. Obviously, not fool-proof and aircraft type can make a difference, but it gave me some idea what to expect. I was pretty sure Dad was going to have to go to a different terminal based off the flights I viewed. 🙂

We really enjoyed Symphony and I think she is my favorite Oasis class. We both loved Playmakers, DH prefers El Loco Fresh over Sabor, and the extra specialty restaurants that were available. I also like that the GS has the extra tv/wall separation, although it does make the room somewhat smaller. We both just had a very relaxing and enjoyable time on the ship. The staff was top notch. However, the Allure will always hold a special place because she was our first Oasis class. I think she is beautiful just as she is. Although a Playmakers would be nice. I don't eat Mexican, so El Loco or Sabor doesn't matter to me. I do LOVE the rain showers in the CLS instead of the later tub design. Allure has breakfast at the Wipeout Cafe and dinner at the Samba Grill. Can't beat those aft views. I'm not Diamond quite yet, almost there, but Allure hasn't put the Diamond Club in steerage yet. 😄

Testing can be 24/7, whether anyone is available is a different story.... very nice

We just got off Indy on Saturday, returning a day late because of Ian. Yes, Freedom class is smaller and you are going to feel movement more than Oasis. Captain did a slow sail back to PC after Coco Cay (@ 10 knots). There really wasn't any wind but the ocean was rolling because of Ian. He said some of the swells were 12 ft in height. They actually had sickness bags attached to the rails although I didn't think the movement was that bad. But, I did run into a couple of things if I wasn't paying attention. Or, the floor up higher or lower when putting your foot down. 😄 She does have a Promenade, which I like. Specialty Dining we thought was very good. Chef in Izumi was outstanding. DH was disappointed in Playmakers, he said not as good as Symphony. He also missed El Loco Fresh. It was a great cruise and we really enjoyed the ship. I hope you enjoy yours as well. 🙂

Just got confirmation from the Captain on Indy, we will not dock on Friday. Is now scheduled for Saturday morning.

We are on Oasis in January the week of the 22nd. Also, in a Crown Loft. Breakfast in CK is usually 0800-1000. 🙂

No roll call for this sailing that I have seen. Haven’t looked the past couple of weeks. They finally resent and tags were included. 😃

Sitting at 20 days and still no luggage tags. Either in the eDocs or from View Boarding Pass, says Pending. I called the regular line first thing this morning without much luck. The agent eventually said there wasn't anything that could be done and I would have to get them at the port. She said this was a known issue. Also asked if the email with the eDocs had two attachments, I guess they were coming in a separate file. No to that as well. Wasn't happy with that answer and called C&A after morning meetings. That agent did a couple of things, verified my info, and sent an email to her associate. She said the luggage tags should be emailed to me within 24 hours. We'll see how that goes.

So based on your 'rational opinion', people who may have disabilities or mobility issues, or others like me that take medications such as chemo, who may possibly have a day or two where they may require some extra rest and relaxation in the cabin should just stay home? Are we offending your sensibilities because we are wasting money on a cruise to enjoy time away from home and not spending our time like you think we should? I see nothing rational in your opinion, just your opinion.

Those things are great! When we do group cruises we sometime buy those as cruise gifts. For $1 more you can get the 8-pack

If I'm counting right, 25 days is tomorrow for us. I'll impatiently wait until then so I can do the same. Although I go the extra OCD step further and laminate them before putting them in the tag holders.

Maybe that some of the smaller classes don't have the kiosks or displays available? I have never been on a Radiance class ship so I don't know what signage is available.

I would think that would make debarkation slower rather than faster. Everyone dragging their own luggage, elevator space at a premium.

Our eDocs are the same. Got them last night 29 days out, 19 pages with no luggage tags. Online it says that luggage tags are still pending.
