  1. I can see that it wouldn’t work for you. It is the high price of the unworkable WiFi on P&O that makes Princess good.
  2. Premium Plus. It is easier to work on the US price which is $60 (£50 UK). Crew Appreciation $12-$15 3 glasses of wine $33, 2 spirits $16. Total $61. And you have free Starlink WiFi. If you drink even a small amount of alcohol (speciality teas, coffees and extras are included) it is a great deal.
  3. sorry you are still not out of hospital. When all over take the cruise you deserve.
  4. We have made a recent booking and were specifically asked if we would need assistance for the cruise. Never been asked this on booking before. I think they are making sure they have enough staff set aside to help with assistance in emergency situations on board.
  5. We had that once. We just resent it and all went well.
  6. See this https://www.pocruises.com/my-holiday?otprrf=https_boards.cruisecritic.co.uk see link near end
  7. Sorry to hear this. We are both fine and hope it keeps that way. I wish you well and that you recover quickly.
  8. Yes I do read the posts. I called P&O, after fighting through the automated nonsense and waiting 45 minutes, the nice lady swapped it with no issues. Andy The above post confused me. I was just pointing out to other people that just because you request a table for two doesn’t automatically mean you will get one. If you are happy to share that’s fine.
  9. If this is a future cruise you will not know that you have got a table for two until the first night. It is only a request. Are you taking about a past cruise?
  10. You have asked for a table for two. It does not mean one will be allocated to you. It depends on demand.
  11. Although this is good news on Britannia we found on Iona that they didn’t have the basic drink ingredients behind the bar to provide drinks, this was especially in the Crows Nest and the atrium.
  12. Some menus from Princess to compare There is a separate vegan, gluten free menu.
  13. We have also thoroughly enjoyed this Princess Cruise. So much better than our recent Iona cruise in respect of drink availability, entertainment and stateroom design. It does seem you had problems dining and you want to share but if you book your table at your first opportunity, after final payment or when you book, you have every chance of getting a table for two which is what most people want. We have several cruises booked on Princess and P&O but would not travel on Iona again or Arvia. Unfortunately the new Princess ships being built are on the same sort of design but larger and have those horrible thin cabins. Not for us. I would like to thank @Selbourne for his very good account of his Britannia cruise.
  14. It is showing on Sport 24 on board now.
  15. This has changed. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2944533-military-and-shareholders-obc-no-longer-combinable-soon/
  16. Have you seen what a private car transfer would cost and leave your own car at home.
  17. See this. Note link at bottom. https://www.pocruises.com/my-holiday?otprrf=https_boards.cruisecritic.co.uk it is not an app but allows you to apply link before you go.
  18. Do you not cancel your early booking once you know you are not able to be on time in order to free it up. Leaving it to lapse would presumably take time.
  19. If you cancel within 3 days you now get charged 10 or 5% can’t quite remember. Check the T & Cs
  20. You must read the bidding rules thoroughly as it is important you know what you may be letting yourself in for.
  21. It could be you had a minisuite before that had the extras. You can buy the robes on board by asking your steward. Tips are included in the fare now.
  22. This would be bad enough in the MDR let alone a paid for restaurant It is good that are places you are very happy with. But they should be doing something, but now money rules the roost and they don't care.
