Which is why they say twin beds if third person. But as you have a baby the cot can go in the open wardrobe space which will give you room if you want queen bed. The steward will change it for you.

The planner only allows you to book for those in your room and nobody else. You cannot book for people in other rooms. I also don’t think you can get the discount for other rooms if you book on board.
On Princess Cruises the lectures are shown on the TV in the following days so you don’t miss any and if you want you can watch them in the comfort of your room. I can’t remember if I have done this on any P&O cruise.
It a long walk off the pier, but the tunnel is ok. You cross over the road back and forth. If the shuttle is there I would take it.
Taxis are available as well and we have taken one to the market for 15 Euro.
