Good morning, I agree.....when flying overseas (at least for me), it is so much easier to book my hotel through the cruise line and get that transfer too. And I already received a new flight.......JFK to Lisbon........NON STOP😀leaves at 8:00pm and gets into Lisbon the next morning, This is on Delta. And yes, I have to get myself up to NY but I am ok with that.....there are multiple flight choices and Delta even has a new non stop......Jax direct to JFK. Don't even have to stop in Atlanta LOL..........

I got so annoyed I just didn't.........I will give them a call tomorrow.

I tried to book a cruise with Celebrity today.........Constellation TA crossing at the end of March. Well, guess what, it would not allow me to book a cabin for 1 person. It was a great price, even for a solo but I guess they don't want my $$$. In my opinion, that is just stupid.

Hi, the hotel is extra, yes. And I asked about the change and was told there would not be an extra charge. I will follow up again.

Hi ya'll....well, I found a cruise and would have booked it but how stupid is this......it is a TA Crossing on Celebrity's Constellation out of Tampa and the end of March. When I did a dummy booking, it would not take 1 person for the cabin☹️.....even if I was to pay double......the price is really good but they don't seem to want my money......It is really DUMB😠

Hi, I have spoken with my rep at SS and she is contacting the Air Dept and we are hoping to change my flight. To be honest with you, I have to get to whatever airport flies overseas.....it could be Miami, Atlanta or New York. No I am not driving to Miami. Will just wait and see what flights they can put me on....... Maybe we will meet on this cruise😀 Somebody asked about the price for coming in a day early.....they are not increasing the price of my sailing. I am staying at their hotel and that is the only extra charge.

Hi girls, have any of you heard of American Cruises? They do river cruises around the USA.......I was taking a look at one of the offerings. Sails from Baltimore to different places on the Chesapeake Bay. Cynthia, would you know what ship that May 11th cruise is? I won't do an inside anymore but would look at one of the windows and balconies.

Hi again, I called the cruise line and you fly home from the Canary Islands but with 2 stops and even that one way flight is VERY $$$$..........I will keep looking for something closer to home for this one.

If I am being totally honest, I am not sure (or I don't remember). I do know there has been the excellent price for a Business class seat and I really don't recall being told the price is xxx amount more for the day early arrival.

We all have different experiences, that is for sure. I have multiple long haul flights through SS and trying to think of any major issues.......maybe I just have been lucky but most of them have been good. All business class and that is what this upcoming one is as well.

Hi, I normally arrive 1 day early. I never fly overseas for a cruise and arrive on sail day. I will get some answers tomorrow.

Hi, I don't know about the TAP schedule. I will speak with my SS rep tomorrow and go from there. I know United flies from Newark to Lisbon but SS no longer uses Newark as a "Gateway City". At least I have plenty of time to get this fixed.

I am sailing on the Ray at the end of the year on her TA crossing (December). I just received an email from Silversea with my flight from here to Lisbon. It is Miami to Istanbul and then Istanbul to Lisbon. Just curious, isn't that a bit of a weird connection? I will contact my SS rep tomorrow. I have booked my flights through SS many times for long hauls across the pond but this is the first time I can remember getting an email so early. We are in February and the flight is for December. Just seems really strange to me........any thoughts? Oh, the really wrong thing is...they have me arriving in Lisbon the day we sail..........I NEVER arrive on sail day when flying overseas. So I am definitely going to have to change the flights!!!

Hi Cynthia, good morning from rainy North Florida. It is an ugly day outside. I keep looking at some things and that even included a land trip (If you can believe it). Then I thought.....pack, unpack, pack unpack.........LOL............a cruise is so much easier. And to be honest, I was looking at the Caribbean and then thought there are other places in the world LOL. Actually, Celebrity has a good price on a Bermuda cruise that also has a stop at Martha's Vineyard but when I did a mock booking it came up that only late dining was available. I can't eat at 8:30 anymore. I guess I could call X directly and tell them I want Anytime dining and see what they say. It has been quite a few years since I have been to Bermuda and I have never visited Martha's Vineyard before. Oh, it is a cruise in May....spring time.

Welcome😀, just for your information it is Silversea......(no s on the end). They have singers and dancers and usually a pianist and sometimes a guitarist. The shows are not like on the BIG SHIPS......(not as extravagant). They do only have 1 show per night. I know on the big ships there are usually 2 shows. There is also a DJ who usually plays in the Panorama Lounge. I am sure others will chime in too.
