  1. And once R tickets your flights....then you can be under some serious penalties for changes. The time to make any change is prior to ticketing.
  2. But even then...you can't "control" what the airlines do once you've booked your preferred flights. Can't tell you how many cancellations/misconnects we've had THANKS TO THE AIRLINES ::rolleyes::
  3. Prep time (and advance request) is actually 48 hours according to Executive Chefs I've spoken with onboard the ships.
  4. You betcha! "Don't leave home without it..."
  5. And that CFAR policy can cost double as a "standard" policy...and allows only for a 75% refund. Adding the cost of that policy plus the 25% not paid-out can end up being a substantial amount, no?
  6. But.....Will there be an upcharge to access streaming services as has previously been the case?
  7. That has ALWAYS been our experience. @Lonedaddy Pool Grill is open until 4pm daily regardless of excursion return times.
  8. On embarkation- Pool Grill and La Veranda are open for lunch. Suite access is usually not available until 2pm so you likely will want to take advantage of the 2 open venues.
  9. The old ones wouldn't survive a flight, either, assuming you are referring to the ones that identify your deck. Those older ones had a sticky back- you looped them through your luggage handle and stuck the ends together. Definitely not to be attached before your flight...they'd likely be torn off by the airline when you check your bags for the flight. The "pleather" ones that are no longer sent out were simply ID tags...name/address/phone etc.
  10. If Regent added a hotel night for F and below...they would have to increase the price. I suppose people could take a hotel credit and get one on their own if they also wanted to arrange their own transfers.
  11. ...until the airlines have yet another schedule change.... 🙄
  12. Just bring your own (or the one you received on your last cruise) and leave the new/unused one hanging up in the closet for the next guest. That's what we do.
  13. BUT....keep reviewing your airline reservation at least weekly...too many 'schedule changes' whether Regent books your air or you do...
  14. Concierge suites do arrive a day in advance as they have an 'included' 1-night pre-cruise hotel. I suppose if Regent changed to booking EVERYONE to arrive a day in advance -they'd have to include that same pre-cruise hotel or you can be sure people would complain. And then to 'include' that hotel Regent would have to increase the per-person package cost. And people will complain....
  15. You can earn the RRPs by participating in various activities onboard. No advance sign-ups needed. Includes events such as the daily Trivia and other organized games such as shuffleboard, Baggo, Top Toss, skittles, Roll-a-Ball, golf putting, CrazyGolf.....lots of fun things to get to know your fellow cruisers. I join every voyage and have earned MANY polo shirts, baggage straps, visors, caps....all Regent logo items. But these are NOT available in the onboard shops.
  16. Hey, if you like MERCH....join the onboard activities to earn Regent Reward Points to exchange for "Regent Merch" at the end of your voyage! Check out PASSAGES every day for activities.
  17. They were available on our recently-completed Explorer voyage. As you said, concierge & above. Concierge and above also has an in-suite coffee/espresso maker which I would LOVE to have in just the Deluxe Suite. But I guess they have to differentiate categories with different amenities. Frankly, I prefer to bring my own bag which is a bit smaller and has an outside water bottle pocket. Convenient for taking off the ship on shore excursions and hold everything we need.
  18. Post #17 made it appear that the poster was referring to something recent. Unless the comment was regarding daytime pool grill
  19. What made it terrible? Was this a 'nighttime' pool grill service?
  20. Seems as though very few people used this venue...also based on our observations over many voyages pre- and post-covid. terrible waste of food and labor when only a few people (often less than 20?) would use it on the nights it was open.
  21. True! Thus the need to regularly review requirements....the same as one regularly reviews future airline reservations for any changes that may have occurred since last check.
  22. And that "10 bucks a day" does not give you any faster speeds - it only allows you to stream. Don't waste your money.
