  3. Our polo shirts were ridiculously HUGE. Others have said the same. Apparently no extras onboard to trade for appropriate sizes. I gave my Medium to the Concierge to give to another guest that could use it. I apparently needed a Small. Maybe they can get some shipped to an upcoming port. Another guest gave her Large to my husband (his XL was like a tent!) - hopefully smaller sizes will show up at some point.

  5. I have no problem just moving stuff onto another "occupied" chair. Have never had an encounter but if I do I'll just plead innocent. πŸ˜‚
  6. @klkaylor78 you mentioned having a butler? He/she could have definitely "clued you in" k owing you were a newbie.
  7. Note that "upgrading" to streaming DOES NOT make it faster. Just opens your account to allow streaming.

  10. We were in 846 (F1)and could hear muffled voices from the suite next to us when seated on the couch. OTOH...the guests in the suite on the other side of us had the TV on very early in the morning and we could hear it though not enough to identify the show. Oh, and their scream the one night we had heavy winds and one particular BANG of the water hitting our side in the middle of the night. 😬
  11. If a venue is not being used by more than 2 or 3 couples.....why waste time/food/labor? That just makes sense and not necessarily 'bean counting.'
  12. @Cenerus Could you explain "actually bad?" I will be boarding Mariner next month. Almost all of our meals were excellent. The lone exception was at Seti Mari. The appetizers were fantastic, but the entrees were actually bad.
  13. We are the exact opposite with regard to the fluffy towels. I have long hair and those towels just don't absorb water very well after my shower, and leaves my skin more damp than I'd like. I know...first world problems. 🀣

He was great and service was much improved. Food was actually hot when it arrived and delicious" We thoroughly enjoyed that area for the first 2 voyages as well as Denver's fine service. "Way in the back" is the only place in the CRs (Explorer, Splendor, Grandeur) where you can actually carry on a conversation. The large/main area has terrible acoustics and way too noisy with loud conversations all around. BTW -ask Denver to tell you how he got his name!

  16. From a fellow Alabamian.....not a SINGLE Christmas decorations onboard Grandeur. Heaven forbid those decorations "mar" the all-important christening photos in the next few days πŸ™„
  17. I heard that is no longer the case. If you cancel you get a refund of the deposit you paid minus $100 per person. And no fcc for that $100. You just lose it.
