  1. Am I getting mixed up with Princess as I thought we had to register a credit card ( or debit card) in the information on the Cruise Personaliser before we sailed , but if we do I can't find where. I definitely know we have to on Princess so I might have been thinking we do on P & O as well.
  2. Sorry the last bit was supposed to say:- How can I get both cruises to show on the new app as they are both later in the year?
  3. So I have just booked a new cruise which is before the Princess one previously booked. The old app is now showing only the new cruise and the new app is only showing the old cruise. It used to be when you went into the old app you could click on which cruise you wanted to look at. Can't you do that now? How cool were get both to show on the app as they are both later in the year? Thanks for any help
  4. They do put the info about the shuttles in quite small print tucked away in the Horizon now, or at least they did on Arcadia recently
  5. Someone posted about this last week, I assume it's the same Travel Agent . They might start losing customers with this policy.
  6. We also always use them if we sail with Princess or the very odd occasion we don't go select. We, by mistake, left our dash cam on once so we saw where they took the car and moved it the day before return nearer the entrance and then moved very early morning on the day of return. Btw CPS ask you to remove the dash cam , in case it is stolen I suppose and not so you can't check on them . My Husband leaves his air tag in the car now. Always all okay and no worries.
  7. Carnival have now changed all their cruises through the Red Sea, I expect there is a lot of relieved people out there and also apparently some, as usual, shouting for compensation. What would they rather do sail through the Red Sea with a big Union Jack painted on the bow, I think not
  8. Has anyone tried bidding less than minimum and still n got the upgrade. We have been quoted a minimum of £150 each to upgrade from inside to sea view. Trouble is I can't remember what the difference was at booking , is there any way off finding out to see if that is deal or not.
  9. The Specialist Cruise Agent we use does not charge an admin fee for cancellation. I understand some do and I think these are also the same agents that ask for the balance over a month before P & O ask for it.
  10. Wow I think you need to book with a new travel agent another time. Unfortunately if you book a Saver Fare that is the risk you take. I very much doubt insurance will pay out because something else had come up but would be really interested to know the outcome of that one.
  11. Try Princess. We have done 3 Princess cruises round the British isles in the last 2 years. Plus Princess always stop at more ports per cruise. We had 11 ports in 14 days on the last one
  12. I downloaded the new app , I had to reset my password. All done okay so I signed into the app. I want to have a look if there dining we booked was still there and it said i had to download the app ( I checked and yes I was still in the app) so anyway I clicked download the app , yes it was just telling me to open it as I had already downloaded it, and it just took me back to where I was before telling me to download the app. Any ideas , I am going to try deleting it and downloading it again. Well report back

Just seen a post on other social media where they shared a reply from P & O about something else but this bit is relevant to your question , saying about signing up to marketing correspondence:- Thank you for getting in touch with your question about our on board dress codes. We as a company take all feed back from our guests seriously, whether it be good or bad. If guests have signed up to receive marketing correspondence, they receive a holiday happiness survey to complete at the end of their cruise, these surveys are sent back to ship and any recurring problems on board are then looked in to by the relevant department and procedures put in place to ensure that these issues do not continue to occur. As I am sure you can appreciate, in general, people do tend to write on social media and review forums the negative aspects of a holiday, rather than the positives, to which we have directly received many.

Yes I know that thanks but the post was about Gift Credit which I assumed was if someone gave you a gift of some onboard credit, the screen shot implied you didn't get your loyalty discount until you had used up the Gift Credit which surely can't be right as a gift of some credit is just like putting cash on our account.
  16. Are they saying that if you have some gift credit you have to spend it before you get your loyalty discount or that you still get loyalty discount when spending it? The latter is the fair option surely
  17. Can you sign into the new app with your old app sign in?
  18. When we were on Iona and Arvia the guest artist shows were 6.45, 8.30 and 10.30. as the Headliners ( ships singers and dancers) shows are popular they are over two nights on the big ships and were at 8.30 and 10.30 for each show.
  19. They didn't even want the letter we had from Princess although I offered to send it. Just make sure the insurance covers 65 days , I haven't got our policy handy to check as some insurers only cover up to 60 days. Like wise House insurance sometimes only cover up to 60 days empty. Have a great trip

  22. If it doesn't normally arrive until just before Christmas wil it fit through the letterbox otherwise it might be sat on the doorstep? I will give the neighbours a heads up to look out for it if that's the case
  23. That's a bit ungrateful to just dump a gift. I can understand if you are on a fly cruise it might not be practical to get it home but at least see if any of the crew or anyone on shore want it. If you are cruising from Southampton and you don't want it , take it to your local charity shop.
  24. We certainly never had a calender as Mediterranean level , and we were Mediterranean years before Covid. Yes I would use a calender if we had one, last year was the first year I never bought one, I also understand you might get a Christmas gift on a Christmas cruise, what sort of gifts have people had in the past ?
