  1. Thanks but it wouldn’t let me update on that either, I think I am just going to wait until we board in August and ask then. Unfortunately I hear now the loyalty desk and the future cruise desk has been combined so there might be a bit of a queue to see anybody.
  2. On my Princess account and also on the Princess App
  3. It was just that wording ( that I copied from page) under my email address I was trying to change it to, so unfortunately I don’t want to post my email address
  4. Hi, I’m trying to update my email address and it says it can’t because:see below. What does this mean please? Login Id/password updation not completed as emailFlag is not Migrated
  5. Yes I certainly do and being small myself I often get shoved onto the end of a row and end up half on and half off. Haha perhaps I should ask to sit on their lap that might prompt them into trying to shuffle up a bit.
  6. It’s always been 4 to a bench when we have tendered.
  7. The rules have now changed from 17 to 12 though so perhaps they will have to now
  8. A lot easier for the girls than the boys on a formal night. Wonder if my grandsons can wear their school blazers but I’m sure they wouldn’t want to. Oh well jackets will probably have to be on the shopping list.
  9. Thanks, no everything is done, medallions ordered to pick up in Southampton ages ago and dining all booked ready. It was on the site we are not supposed to mention that people said you should be blue. Everything on ours is ticked and we are showing as green. I was thinking more of do we need a boarding pass to get into terminal as on the bigger ships you now have to wait in a queue outside if you get there before your boarding time and we should have priority boarding. If we have no boarding pass how do we prove that bearing in mind we can’t get medallion shipped to our home address here in the UK.
  10. We are both showing as Green for our next cruise, I thought that is what we were on our previous cruises but people on that well know site are saying we should be blue. It is best to be blue or green? Also I can’t remember if we had to print a boarding pass? If we don’t what do we show when we go though to the terminal?
  11. Yes of course the money was refunded, the OBC was an extra. They didn’t have to give anything extra as it was their bank’s fault but I suppose they felt responsible.
  12. @Megabear2 years ago when Carnival had that big problem with the banks ( it was the banks fault not Carnival) and they took double payments for cruises off peoples credit cards, we had a payment for a short cruise on QM2 taken off twice. Carnival gave people OBC to make up for it and as we had already been on the cruise I emailed back and said thanks very much but we haven’t got any Cunard cruises booked but we do have some P & O ones. I then got an email back saying they had added the OBC to our Aurora cruise so as you say the info for Cunard and P & O obviously are listed together for the operators. Good on them I thought
  13. Thanks. So if we want to eat when the MDR opens which I assume is 6 o’clock we don’t have to go onto the app any more and book it before we go? I need to eat early for medical reasons so don’t want to get there and have to wait an hour or so for a table.
  14. I can see it says about no pre booking but what about when onboard booking before a meal that day. When we were on Ventura recently we still had to book the MDR, you could book 1/4 hour before it opened. So does no pre-booking mean before you board or no booking needed full stop.
  15. If you scroll down to the Caribbean level it says you can arrive from 1 o’clock https://www.pocruises.com/content/dam/po/pdfs/Peninsular-Club.pdf I am definitely taking a copy of this with me next time as we had a 4 o’clock arrival time and we’re Caribbean but the over zealous port people wouldn’t let us board or the two we spoke to wouldn’t, They basically said well we’re not P & O . When we did get onboard others said we should have kicked up about it, we missed our first Caribbean arrival lunch reception because of them plus waited in a queue for 3 hours.
  16. We have been on a Canary Island cruises in November a few times. It should be reasonably warm , you might need a jacket. Madeira is lovely, we just walk around now but have previously done the cable cars also once did the tour of the caves on the other side of the Island which are lava tubes. We have also done the Hop on hop off bus. Another popular think to do is to go up in the cable car and come down in the baskets. Google that and see if you are brave enough to do it. Lanzerote always worth doing the Fire Island Tour. Gran Canaria you stop right by a big shopping centre and also a short walk round the promenade. Hop on hop off buses are right near the port. Tenerife probably worth doing an excursion or get the hop on hop off bus from town. Lisbon plenty of things to do, watch out for pick pockets. Vigo check out the excursions.
  17. I read the same post and the sad thing is they didn’t think they were stealing they genuinely believed they were supposed to take them as they couldn’t be used again - they think. Like the people that complain when they get charged for the bath robes that they have ‘stolen’ from the cabins. I also think anything that is removed from the room should be charged for but unfortunately I would think this is a very difficult thing to instigate.
  18. Looking forward to hearing about the celebrations onboard, we might have to wait until people get back home. Hope you all had a great Coronation 🤴👑🇬🇧🥳
  19. We had a 4 o’clock boarding and even though we are Caribbean and were told by P&O it was a mistake and we should have priority boarding the dockside people said well we’re not P & O so we waited in a queue with others for over 3 hours and were let on about 3.45
  20. Only a few days of entertainment seem to be available to book before hand at the moment. You can book speciality dining but obviously can’t use your OBC if you book before you board. You can also book the MDR/Olive Grove/6th Street Diner two weeks before but only on times up to half 6, which suits us as we always eat early.
  21. Oh I didn’t know that, those benches would have been excellent for the garden
  22. We were on one of the last cruises on Oriana (or it might have been Oceana. ) and I kept saying when we walked around the deck I wish they would sell the lovely wooden benches off that had the life belts in . They had the name of the ship on the front.
  23. What do they have instead then? You have to eat somewhere
