What is the story with Covid now though, if you share a table with someone who later goes down with Covid will you have to isolate as well?

About two weeks before the cruise you can book some of the theatre shows. It is only showing 6 of the 14 nights for us before though. If you are in your Cruise Personaliser click on entertainment and you should get a date come up as to when you can book some shows. Ignore that date 🤣 and add two days and that might be the day.

So I did manage to book the 4 Headliners shows as soon as they became available and have the confirmation email from P & O saying they are booked. Just gone in this morning and 2 of the Headliners shows have disappeared and 2 new ones have taken their place. So I thought okay I better book those but it is saying they ate not available . Now I have the confirmation email saying I have booked the Headliners for those days it is just saying a different show for them. Do you all think my email will still be valid because the Headliners are my favourite theatre shows and I don’t want to miss them.

Thanks , so you can book days in advance if you want to can you. We normally eat as early as possible every night ( medical reasons ) which is why we prefer Freedom Dining as set dining on the older ships was always at 6.30 whereas Freedom Dining started at 6 or even 5.30 on sone cruises. On the day you board can you book dining straight away? Editing - I think when we are on Iona next year we might not book that far in advance as there is quite a few dining choices which sound good.

Can I ask please and this is not just for Iona but that will also apply early next year. I was specifically wondering about Ventura initially. When can you book the MDR , do you have to do it each day or can you do it days in advance? If you have to do it each day what time does the booking become available please?

I agree I would much prefer it to go back to how it was before Covid. The reason I wanted to book before we board is because watching the theatre shows is our favourite thing about cruising. From reading reports over the last year I am hearing about people not managing to get into shows so I wanted to make sure our main reason for cruising was going to be available to us.

We always download info and send off ourselves. Just had one confirmed in a couple of days.

Yay, it just let me book 4 Headliners shows, it had two other shows showing , it let me book show 2 but show 1 wasn’t showing any dates when you went into it. I suppose 5 shows booked out of 14 isn’t too bad. Hope we can book more soon. Just have to get early dinning to go with early show now, which we can’t book till we are onboard I understand.

Following on our cruise is in 2 weeks and it has said for ages available to book on 28th October , that date has now disappeared but there is nothing showing to book. Where am I looking exactly as I’ve tried clicking into all sorts of things.

How do you book the entertainment on the My Cruise as it was supposed to be available from today but there is nothing showing and nothing to click into ?

We aren’t flying but I notice our boarding passes to get on Ventura are only showing our first names and no middle names although it says it has to match our passport. I’m sure I have seen other comments on this in here. Is everyone else’s showing the same?

Hi All, when we are on Iona we have more OBC than normal so I just wondered what the shops are like. Do they sell electrical items, if so what sort? Are there I pads etc.? Thanks.

It’s more shamed if you are the last back to the ship , only one gangway left out and everyone else looking over the side watching (sometimes even jeering) as the latecomers board.

What is wrong with some people, they must think they are better than anyone else. What's the bet they are also the ones being rude to the crew and complaining about anything and everything.

The few times we have caught the coach we have been to reception and asked for a disembarkation time that is good for the required departure time of the coach. I just can't understand why eveybody hasn't got the sense to do that. Just been on 2 Princess cruises and I noticed although they don't offer free coach travel they do have disembarkation times especially for the coaches departing. Why can't P & O do this

We are on Deck 4 so hopefully we will get same boarding time. As you are Caribbean you get priority boarding, unfortunately we have one cruise to go before we get to that.

No we purchased bottles of gin and Barcardi on the last 2 Princess Cruises and they were a lot cheaper than you can get in the shops in UK. I don’t know what the prices are for bottles on P & O since Covid but certainly before Covid they were equivalent to Princess. If you are talking about alcohol to drink on board, sorry can’t help you on that as we never buy any. Mainly because of the calories involved. I have a theory that lots of people saying they have put weight on during a cruise , a lot of it is to do with the alcohol consumed and not the food.

Yes but $250 on Princess or Cunard goes a lot further that £150 does on P & O . They need to level it up

We’ve just done 2 Princess cruises so we did get the dollar rate, unfortunately as each cruise was only 12 days you don’t get as much.

it certainly is with the Dollar nearly level with the GBP, we Brits are losing out big time
