Neither of my parents ever drove a car and I only drove two.In 1985 I bought a Chevy Eurosport .I drove it for 18 years.That car and I had many interesting adventures.In 1985 when the car was brand new I was driving home from a party and I should not have been driving because I was very far from being sober .I said to the car “you have to get me home”.It was 3AM .The only smart thing I did was not to take the highway for the 15 mile ride.Somehow I got home safely .

Wow ,we are still likely in the minority on CC.

My first car was a 1972 Chevy Impala

We were on a RCI cruise several years ago as part of a group of 40. Somebody from the group apparently spoke to someone because we were all seated near each other in the MDR.

The only time I ever had baggage checked while crossing a border was a time when I had long hair and a long beard .I was on a bus and every guy who had that look had their baggage checked.

My 18 year old granddaughter also saw him twice in concert and is planning to go to Chicago to see him,I have no idea when.

My father had a glass of whiskey every night .I never wanted to taste it.I drank beer for the first time when I was in college at McSorleys in Manhattan. From 1972 to 1979 I had a liquid lunch every Friday then returned to work.The last time I drank beer was in 1990.

I have never had a problem in 54 years of traveling.

I had plenty of fun devising my own routes such as driving from NYC to Long Island without taking a highway or bridge.

I never drove with a GPS .

We took the HAL Zuiderdam .It was a great cruise.

Not necessarily when driving in Long Island and Brooklyn .There can be very heavy traffic on Sunday mornings due to beaches ,baseball stadiums ,cricket fields and shopping.

I live on the south shore of Long Island With one exception we have only flown out of JFK and flown into JFK.Many years ago I flew by myself to Texas and I flew from LaGuardia.When I lived in southern Brooklyn I also only flew in and out of JFK.

When I was 19 I drank an entire bottle of Vodka in a very short time period I got so sick and said to myself never again will I drink Vodka.Since I was drunk when saying that I resumed drinking it again but not an entire bottle.

That was a commercial with John Cameron Swayze.

Although I own a high quality watch ,an engagement gift from my wife in 1966,I primarily wear Timex watches .A watch that I have been wearing 10 years stopped glowing in the dark.My children bought me a new one and this does not glow in the dark.

Or possibly the truth if I did not see him carving.

We went from Fla to South America in 2010.I carried all of my pills in a large pillbox with absolutely no problems.

In 2008;my wife bought a $10 watch on a cruise ship .A guy observed that and said the watch will stop running when you get home from the cruise. This morning ,15 years later the watch stopped working.

I tend to doubt that because the guy was doing a carving demonstration in front of me .Either he or an associate of his likely carved it.

I have yet to get sick on a cruise .In fact the last time I had a cold was 2018.

I had never booked a cruise with a cruise line but one day Indecided to call a cruise line to get some information .The person who answered the phone had the same name as me .I took that as an omen and booked the cruise with him.He said that nobody ever called with the same name as him .After a discussion to determine if we could possibly be related he was very happy to book the cruise for my wife and I .

I have heard that this was a usual practice.

I am in contact with 32 people that I knew in Elementary School.Most via e-mail ,some by phone and one in person. My school had an online message board for all year graduates.There were about 100 people who were regulars .In 2006 we decided to have an all years reunion .Forty people attended but they were all from my year to one year before me and one year after.Everyone had a great time and we had two more reunions.
