  1. No. I had to almost beg to get a printed sheet. The info should be posted by guest services but hard to know when. I will continue to beg.
  2. Sorry about your loss. For everyone, on your edocs there's an emergency phone number to use the 24 hrs prior to sailing. Used it from Copenhagen on a Saturday to call Royal after having gotten a new passport that day, 24 hrs before boarding. Had lost wallet with passport on Friday. Gave them new passport number and had no trouble boarding. It's the one phone number you take from your edocs.
  3. Not sure who they used but we used Meadway. Meadway.com. used them from LHR to hotel and also to Southampton. Definitely recommend them. A friend recommended them to us and as former Londoners they had used them for years.
  4. My mistake. Still the ship was not out at sea or in a position to avoid the storm. Could they have alerted passengers to evacuate the outside decks sooner? I don't know but it didn’t sound that way. Chair would have flown no matter what.
  5. Agree. Ship was about to depart Port Everglades. It didn’t sail into the storm. Trying to get everyone to suddenly evacuate the outdoor areas could have caused more chaos.
  6. Better thab nothing! I think you need more than that.
  7. Yes available but the logistics of moving disembarking passengers to Miami and the embarking passengers to Port Everglades could be a nightmare. Lots of communication issues with both sets of passengers.
  8. Good luck to everyone waiting and those waiting to disembark. Sorry about the person who lost his life and the one who was injured. Was anyone else on the boat that sank?
  9. Haven't heard much about what's happening onboard but saw posted for the passengers at the terminal they can check their luggage and there will be a shuttle to the Bayside Marketplace so they can get lunch and $20/pp will be put on their onboard account to cover lunch. A Carnival person will be at the market. Obviously an attempt to deal with all the people waiting.
  10. Checked marinetraffic and doesn't look like any of the cruise ships are moving. This one isxat .1 knots. Not actually going anywhere.
  11. Try calling c&a. They were very nice. I didn't ask for a specific table just that we sit together.
  12. I called c&a in May to link 3 reservations for dinner, late seating, traditional. I had all 3 reservation numbers and names on reservations. They took all the the information, acknowledged 1 was already linked to ours, and then they added 3rd couple. This is for a September 29th cruise. No problems. Obviously we'll confirm when we board and go to mdr after we board and get our cards with table no. if not altogether.
  13. Bermuda is one of our favorite places. Love to walk different sections of the Railroad trail. Alot to see in various places. No Caribbean vibe but you're not in the Caribbean! This is a British island.
  14. That sounds nice except if you are traveling overseas for an extended period of time.
  15. I know he boarded 5/6. 10 weeks is 7/15, Rumen board and next 10 weeks takes it to 9/23. Canal transit is 10/7. 2 weeks to play with. Someone else said Marek would be back for transit. Guess we'll just have to wait.
