Keith, Over three years on Serenity! Wonder what the record is? I will have over one year on Serenity after the 2024 world cruise. Looking forward to more reports from the full ship.

I remember when the new ownership was announced in 2015. There was also the announcement of a new ocean ship at that time. Never happened. The primary essential for new builds is that there be new builds.

Hi Pat! I'm not sure New Crystal recommends hotels. The one we had before the 2015 world cruise was excellent both in terms of amenities and location...but I cannot recall the name?? I do recall it was easy walking distance to South Beach....

As Seasack said...use the phone app. The only issue I had was taking my photo. You need to fill the screen with your face. That means more of a close shot than say a passport photo.

@CabinBoy2020 Tell me about the solo table you mentioned in the main dining room. Only one? How many does it seat and how many on average show up? Time of seating or people just join in? The one you are seated at appears to seat six, which should work well. I don't know if Crystal still has eight seat tables in the main dining room...but that would be too many.

I think the carpets are hideous but I'm no design expert. Question: Can anyone give me a mix of whether paddle tennis or pickle ball is being played on board? Is it 50/50 70/30 or ???

Just my opinion, but I don't see how the credit can be used this way. You would have had to pay for the following segment in advance..and you would not have completed the milestone to qualify in time. Just paying for a cruise does not qualify; completing the cruise does.

How about Elise Ivy? From the 2012 World Cruise before she went full time into acting and producing...

There are several excursions on the Crystal site that need updating relative to the port times. For instance Serenity is scheduled to port at Volos Greece on the 6th of May 2024 from 8 am to 6 pm. there is an excursion "The Spectacular Monasteries of Meteora" scheduled to depart at 11:30 am and lasting 8 hours...

Unless I am missing something shore excursions are unavailable for booking for the entire world cruise...even the dates in January. They were previously available all the way through May, but when the itinerary changes were made due to the war in the Middle East the excursions were greyed out and have remained so for the entire 141 days.

How difficult is it to update an itinerary? The Crystal website has had this description for many months in regard to the May 14 to May 25 Serenity cruise: "A true Mediterranean immersion, this voyage starts in Athens and travels to an incredible array of islands and cities alike. Heading south, the first stop is the ancient walled town of Monemvasia. Next is the Island nation of Malta, followed by a tour of Italy's boot, visiting Palermo, Naples, and Civitavecchia, close to Rome. Glitzy Saint Tropez follows Ajaccio before disembarking in the heart of pretty Provence, La Seyne-sur-Mer." Note the promise of "the island nation of Malta"...indeed the photo in the "photo view" for this cruise is the iconic photo from Malta. Yet Malta is no where to be found on the day by day itinerary....

The overnight in Safaga for Luxor is also gone. I know the overland tours were already wait listed. Looks like Crystal thought the risk of spending the night in Luxor was too risky.

Excursions were available for booking on the entire world cruise a few days ago. As of this morning, the excursions I have booked are still there, but there are no other excursions listed. "Excursions" is greyed out for every day. One can still book specialty dining.

One of the tabs is for solo fares. But when one investigates, you will find that the fares listed are for double occupancy. One is instructed to call to find solo fares. Seriously? Not impressed.
