On our 15 nt TA ,we had the same problem ,the cabin opposite to ours would stop and chat loudly with their buddies and then shout goodnight to them as they went in to their cabin . After 3 or four nights ,I had had enough . Later that morning around 4.30 am (like getting up early ) I got dressed to go up to the buffet for an early morning cuppa. I walked up to their door with my face inches away ,took a deep breath and yelled "MORNING ! DID ANYONE ELSE HEAR THOSE DRUNKS SHOUTING GOODNIGHT WAKING EVERYONE UP ??" Then went for my cuppa ...On my return my Mrs said did you hear someone shout ? If she heard it in our cabin ,I'm sure they got the message and I never heard from them so they got the message .😉

Today I think we could do with the help of P&O cruise Laundry expert @DamianG😉 We called by at our Granddaughters home (the eldest who is with child) She is in the last weeks and massive and in a lot of pain even more so trying to bend to do the washer . Nan being Nan ,to the rescue has brought it all to ours so our washer will be earning it's keep today . They tell me the baby is almost engaged (not into all this maternity jargon ) I wanted to know who the boyfriend was and had they chose the ring yet .🤣 Hope you all have a good day take care .

Yes I hope Sharon is on the mend now after such a painful incident . Also credit where it's due to @Host Hattie for looking after the board as well as her own Cunard, on top of her own personal and working life, well done that woman .🙂 Lots of posters seem to have drifted away and I hope @kruzseeka is keeping well.🙂

If and when they change the law about appearing for sentence , while they are at it A judge should have the power to sentence them to no visitors for a few years . This would stop weirdos who will want to marry her or be a pen pal. Deny her the right to family friends etc, as she has to those poor families. I wonder if she will play the "Loopy" card and try for Rampton hozzie as Leslie Alitt did ?

I try not to answer any numbers I don't recognise and check them out on the "Who Called Me " website . 99% of the time they are dodgey and have rang other people. It can be annoying when your expecting calls from the NHS as you answer them ,just in case it's a specialist phoning . With things like my broadband we have an agreed password ,if they don't give it that is the end of the call. Some people will tell you they answer and play about with them . They don't mind as they sell you on to others as a person that does answer the phone . Be careful if it was anybody legit they would post you a letter like NHS anyway . Stay safe 🙂

It's amazing how ovens have progressed over the years Bob . I remember our old gas oven , on a Sunday our fresh chicken from the farm would take ages to cook ! The chicken kept blowing the flames out 😉🤣

No flack from me but lets think out of the box for one moment . Imagine some of the excellent live reviews we have on this site . Why put photos on of your meals ? We all know what a breakfast on a cruise ship looks like . Why nice sunsets if at home or at sea ? We know what they look like too. Just my opinion but photos ,they add a little more depth to our posts . If I were to go on a cruise in a few weeks ,should I be thinking ... I won't take any photos as we all know what the ship ,food, venues ,hotels etc look like ? Sad day when that happens but each to their own and if it disinterested me that much I would simply just scroll by being the easiest option . Just my thoughts ,each to their own . Take care 🙂

Sorry but due to lack of description, I'm struggling imagining what your Beefeater voucher looks like .So I guess as Andy said "No photo ....🤣" I’m trying to get a photographic memory but its still developing.🙃 As for photo's of food Graham is right ,loads of people and I like looking at them . Walk down any seafront in the Med past the cafe's and people gather to look at the food menu photo's . Morning 18.c bright and breezy today . Just had a blast from the past through our letter box ,a BT phone book directory, very small to what they used to be . The print inside is so tiny that you would need the eyes of a sparrow hawk to read them . Mrs K used to work in a big telephone exchange and she says she wouldn't have stood a chance working with them . So it's from letter box to recycle bin in less than two minutes 🥴 Have a good day everyone 🙂

When went to our local store there was an old guy stood at the window trying to open it to get out of the store .I called him over to me and opened the door for him . It was like a scene with Eli out of the Last Of The Summer Wine ! He had left his glasses with them to call back later on . I note some of you seem concerned about needing glasses but you shouldn't stress about your eyesight failing as you get older... It’s nature’s way of protecting you from shock as you walk past the mirror.🙃 Have a good day everyone 🙂

Agreed if you can log into here ,then you can use a patient system . My doctors gave me a username and invited me to set a password and was given a link like this to save to desktop https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com/2/Login?Date=20230817113810 I can put in requests for double up tablets if going away ,without the need for tying up phonelines /reception time . The system is so easy to use and follow .

My doctors practice runs the same as Josy's and are very good and more often than not can be seen the same day . They use System Online patient app. This can be used on a laptop as well as a smartphone. I can book tablets ,change chemist but they choose not to have make an appointment active . Once I have booked my medication I have the chemist to deliver them , they also put all the tablets into a weekly pill flexi pack . Maybe you could enquire next time at you doctors and get them to set up an account that they would send you an e-mail where you can set up desktop short cut or app ? At least once a year the system stops me ordering until I have had a medication review , which I think is a good thing as well .

You could always get someone help out , like take out a loan ?? 😉🙃

Morning everyone, it 's 13.c and sunny at the moment . To our resident night owl ,it's not much fun when you cannot sleep, that really takes the biscuit ,that's if there's any left by the morning 😉 I once bought a pack of those chocolate animal shaped biscuits, but had to take them back as the seal was broken. 🙃 The ladies football today ,hope England give the Aussies a football lesson . Starts 11 am UK time, I don't understand time zones! How is it possible that in UK it is today. and In Australia it is tomorrow, and in Cleethorpes it is 1962 ?
