In an ideal world yes , but with prices rising and energy costs , there will be people out there who struggle to buy a loaf to feed their families .Food banks and all that ,shame really . Where we can though we should make our own food from scratch . I am going to attempt to make my own fish cakes covered in breadcrumbs ! Feeling a little nervous as I have never been covered in breadcrumbs before 🙃😉

Morning ,hope everyone's ok 🙂 Sat reading the papers, thinking what shall I have for breakfast today ? Then I read ,that what we eat most of it is bad for us ,which we already knew. General rule of thumb ..If it tastes nice it's bad for you 🙃 What got me is all the papers quote "even our ready sliced bread !" What if I was to buy uncut bread ,is that any safer or better still ask the shop to slice it for me ,would that help ? What about shortbread , I heard they wont make it any longer😉 Have a nice day /breakfast everyone 🙂

Looking at the family dressed for a summers day in Consell (in film 50 sec) were not expecting that sort of weather as they cowered behind the wall . To be honest I doubt anyone was expecting the weather to be that bad.

I've been to both of them ,the Yorkshire one isn't as pretty as yours but handy for nipping over to Meadowhall (Meadow -Hell )

I hope that is just camera angle and no lifeboats are damaged ? Think they all have to be seaworthy before going out to sea ?

Or people who need certain medication throughout the day . The times I have thought "We will be back in plenty of time to take it " Memo to self ..Take it with me ,take nowt for granted " Great to hear the ship is going to dock back in port as well .😀

I was told that for those onboard have been told stay in your cabins allowing crew to work emergency procedures. A couple ventured out of their cabin and were told off for doing so. I hope your all back onboard soon .🙂

Sorry was not having a dig ,I had to Google where the ship was (China). Just my opinion but I would rather hear ,same as you ,what is happening to people who like Mrs Applehead are stranded in a in a building without power etc . Once everyone is back onboard safe we will all be happy . Sorry if my post upset you , not my intension 🙂

I have been informed that the Britannia has broke her lines due to high winds in Palma . She has hit a tanker and has minimal damage and folks have been told to stay in their cabins . Anyone got any further updates to this situation ?
