I seldom listen to BBC radio, maybe Radio Sheffield Toby Foster who does a topical local chat about things I can relate to. When Ken Bruce left BBC ,I now tune into G H radio just for the Pop Master quiz. As for the BBC tv ,I have watched the Olympics,news , documentaries and bits of football and sometimes full matches . All this for just under .47 p per day ,so no complaints from me .

Morning 😃 Looks to be the makings of a nice day ,bright and sunny at the moment so may sit out and enjoy it whilst it lasts . @Adawn47 Thanks for those lovely sentiments.I'm sure most Yorkshiremen are kind and generous to a fault (providing it don't cost to much). One thing they don't like is waste ,hence John and his testing kits 😉🤣 The best thing about Yorkshire is the folks ability to laugh with others and most importantly at themselves ... A Yorkshire woman and her grandson are at the beach having a nice day in Bridlington, having a grand time they were . When out of nowhere, a huge wave comes and sweeps him out to sea. Horrified she drops to her knees and pleads, "Please God, save my only grandchild. I beg of you, my life has no meaning without him. Please bring him back God." Suddenly a big wave comes and washes the boy back onto the beach, good as new. She looks up to heaven and says: " Nar then ,he had a hat!" 🙃 Everyone take care and have a good day 🙂

We checked the use by date on the outer box they came in and were advised not to use after this date by our health centre as they may not be accurate .

Time to simmer those sprouts for Christmas and dress up in a Halloween mask and go knocking door to door tonight as you get a better reaction from folk . Last night my mate Barry was having a can of beer and on the side of the can it read "Best drunk before August 2024" . He has phoned the brewery and thanked them for such kind words about him 🙃

Funny you should mention passports. One of our daughters is applying for a passport for there youngest first passport. She has had to get all four grandparents birth certificates to send off with the application. Her two eldest had a passport sent without doing this,think we just gave our details and our passport numbers. Morning everyone, on the 1st of August we have got heavy rain showers as expected this morning .Well at least that's the garden plants watered, so can sit back and watch the grass grow. Morning .a bright sunny start here but the last one for a while and the last day of this month as well. Mrs K plans to cut the grass today but hold off watering any plants as it will have plenty when the rains are back tomorrow. We will make sure the garden birds have plenty of water to drink though. Morning ,it looks to be another hot one today but I kept out of it yesterday,as it was a bit much for us . Will put some sun cream on should we sit out today . Morning all, we have a sunny 17.c and reaching 27.c today and the UV up to 7. Yesterday sun was strong but we sat in the shade apart from 5-10 mins where I had a potter around the garden .Only this morning did I notice the sun had caught my head a little . So memo to self for today must wear sun hat and keep in the shade or get some sun cream on . Never used to be like this before I went on medications now I easily burn . Good morning. It is sunny and 13.C here. Not a lot planned ,may watch some of the Olympics but I am finding them hard work as you can get 3 folk sat in a studio just chatting for 30 mins or more 15 mins actual event and back to the studio for more chat. If the weather stays like this may sit in the shade in garden and watch the world go by . Hope you all have a good day and take care .

Trust me they are there you just have not met them . Going to work one morning ,sat in inside lane as I was turning left, in centre lane was a van ,that decided he also wanted my lane and drove into me . We had sat alongside each other until the lights turned green for over a minute but he said he forgot /did not notice me there .This was 4.45 am !!!!! No one else near us on the road at that time .

Note ..somehow I put the map on twice .🤔

With four cruise ships in Southampton today I am sure they will be a few traveling down from up north /midlands will be fretting, if stuck in traffic and praying that a few cruise coaches are stuck with them ,as there has been a major crash causing part of the A34 to be closed . This is a reason we always like to travel the day before to Southampton . I watch the ships live on YouTube departures but think todays ships could be delayed . Good luck to all who are stuck in this incident and hope everyone is ok.
