  1. I found a great thread where someone mentions that specific cruise and comedian. I think his name was Tim Kiminski. Hilarious times indeed. 🤣
  2. This is hilarious. Paging @momof3cruisers I found someone that knows your comedians name.
  3. Definitely get yourself a lithium jump box and keep in the car. Especially if you're gong to sit for that long with no way to trickle charge.
  4. I have heard that Magic is a little worn and food is lacking. But she's my favorite ship, if I do go Vista class, Havana all the way. We love the thalassotherapy pool on Magic and deck five.
  5. @Saint Greg maintains that website: https://www.saintgregtravel.com/punchliner-comedy-schedule/ But I looked at archives for that time frame and don't see Carnival Spirit listed other than: John Wesley Austin July 7-27 JC Coccoli June 15-23 Jimmy Della Valle November 27-December 17 Narrow down the dates and maybe he'll know more.
  6. Not a coffee drinker, but after all your pics I am definitely getting this. You and me both. Let's go! Sad times. Catching up from Friday and was sad to see the end cometh. I don't usually get involved in these threads that fly along. It's not often I want to catch up over 8 pages since Friday. But it's been fun. Thanks so much. Safe travels home.
  7. Just to drive home the difference between Vista and Excel class Havana areas, here is a comparison side by side of the Celbration and Horizon. I have never tried Excel class and have no desire to.
  8. Wow, you don't play around. Is that 12:01 EST? I didn't even know 10-10:30 was a thing, earliest I've ever gotten was 11-11:30.
  9. I'd be curious to know if 5205 / 5208 would be noisy since they are next to the elevators.
  10. I was hoping that 80-90 minutes was an exaggeration. But a solid hour wait, wow. We have switched back to assigned dining. We just like it to be consistent timing and get to know the wait staff. I have never had beef wellington, but I'll be getting it the next time I see it on the menu. Fun. I've had that on HAL. Maybe it's always been on Carnival too, just don't recall it. I haven't been since before covid, but that has always been my favorite class of ships. Like the spa hydrotherapy pool and deck five for walking and hot tubs. I have heard negative reports though, so it makes me sad. I'll try it again at some point. Definitely a place I want to visit. Never been there and it's on the short list of places to go. At one point there was a cruise once a year from Charleston that went to Bermuda and I should have made a point of doing that one, but never did.
  11. Funny that is the cake that I thought looked amazing and I usually scroll past the cakes.
  12. As you are on this portion of your trip, what's the age demographic like? I was kind of surprised to hear there was a young 20's woman on the cruise.
  13. This makes me feel better. I got the last Havana interior available on Horizon (5230) and was hoping for an upgrade to a balcony, but it's looking full up. We've done Havana interior before but it was in 7457.
  14. That dude is my spirit animal. Love it. Buffet? Looks good. Will be on the lookout. I went looking for details on that story, but Marines choking people is in the news a lot. No luck.
  15. You have some neat cruises coming up! I look forward to your reviews. Which one are you most looking forward to? Am I understanding that you will be on Horizon 11/11/23? Or are you for awhile? We will be on Horizon Havana 11/23.
  16. What app are you using to track steps? I like that it tells you, this is your 55th best day. That's cool
  17. Anyone else curious about that model croc, it is the Crocs LiteRide 360 Clog.
  18. Up north they call it BBQ (to mean grilled), down south they say cook out, or grilling out to express that there is a party that is going to centered around grilled or smoked meat. It took me quite awhile to understand the term BBQing in that sense. To me, BBQ means pulled pork or brisket or maybe BBQ sauce slathered chicken. So I appreciate that you clarified that for us southerners. I have never had Beef Wellington. Tell me more.
  19. He probably saw you split the 8's and decided to follow suit if he didn't really know what he was doing. In his head: "oh this guy knows what's up and it worked out, I should do the same." But that was rough.
  20. That is so much food! Wow. We are eating there for the first time in November.
