  1. Obviously proof is needed. I would take pictures or videos as if you call for a crew member the miscreant is probably already finished by the time they arrive. As for the cabin steward they would have to see it too. I have a pretty good telephoto on my smartphone so I would pull it out and shoot video. It cames out good even at night. I would be obvious about it too.
  2. There have been Webinars before without PUPs. I watched at least one which interested me. That did not stop PUPs. None can predict when this form of marketing will end but the demise of PUPs has been speculated before and that turned out to be premature.
  3. As usual there is no Orange Route public ferry service to St. George's on the winter schedule. The public ferry to Hamilton does run all year. The winter schedule usually runs to the end of April so expect the next Summer Schedule in May 2024. If you are on NCL they have been running a complementary ferry to St. George's for their passengers all year. http://www.rccbermuda.bm/Documents/Ferry/Winter Ferry Schedule 2023-24.pdf
  4. Usually they use Punta Langosta but they have docked at the International Pier. Usually Royal Caribbean docks at the International Pier but RC has docked at Punta Langosta.
  5. So what? No one said they didn’t. Your theory about Royal Caribbean is wrong anyway. Some Royal Caribbean ships have docked there too, Disney, NCL, Royal Caribbean ships also dock at the International pier. If you Google you will find that Puerto Langosta can hold two large ships or one large ship and two small ships. The assignments are probably made based on which ships and their size are calling any given day.
  6. I didn't say large ships could not use that dock. Carnival has partnered with the port at Puerto Maya and Royal Caribbean has a partnership with the port for the International Pier. That does not mean those docks are exclusive. I have seen NCL at the International Pier. There are a lot of reasons that ships dock at certain berths at ports.
  7. At St. Thomas Royal has a contract for Crown Bay. I think Crown Bay possibly is more suited for larger ships. At Cozumel Royal Caribbean ships, and some other cruise lines have been using the International Pier for years. Carnival Corp ships have been using Puerta Maya. They partnered with Cozumel to build it. It is a farthest from downtown, The leftover ships, smaller ships and ferries call at the downtown dock or they tender.
  8. Certain docks are reserved for ships that make regular calls. A ship that calls every week is going to have priority over a ship calls once in a while. Also the port authority or harbor master has a say.
  9. Thanks for the heads up! I was not using the Snoopy face this morning.
  10. If you really want to be OCD and expedite her passport renewal no need to spend $1000. You can do it yourself if you can get an appointment. Also as mentioned you don’t need a passport if you have her birth certificate. 11. I have been to those ports a bunch of times but I don’t recall the itinerary of that cruise. I had about 7 booked that year. What you are missing is that the requirements for being in transit on a cruise that calls at those islands are different than those for flying in by air. It is a closed loop cruise that does not even require a passport.
  12. I went on a Caribbean cruise with less than six month because I had so many cruises stacked I could not time one to have six months. As you mentioned you could take a birth certificate. It is not technically, it is actually allowed on that closed loop itinerary. If you are worried about it take a birth certificate as backup. You won’t need it but that seems to makes some people feel better for some reason.
  13. You are not screwed. You don’t need six months for those islands when you cruise to them.
  14. Interesting. I see the theory. Since we have the AMEX trip cancelation benefit we could build our own coverage wiithout the AMEX insurance trip option. So book roundtrip air with the AMEX card and buy AMEX insurance. I think I would need to read the actual policy.
  15. Where do you find that? I would like to read what it covers.
  16. Maybe AMEX Canada does but the US Platnium card does have medical benefits.
  17. Since you used Chase points for part of your trip don't you have a Chase Card? Even though the cruise part was paid with AMEX under Chase conditions you might be covered. They don't have the roundtrip rule. I suggest calling the Chase claims department.
  18. Also the Chase cards include medical and dental benefits. Also you don't have to book everything with Chase. Since OP mentioned using Chase points I wonder why they are not filing a claim with Chase. It appears they have a Chase card'
  19. Third party insuance costs more but they are covering medical costs and emergency evacuation.
  20. That is correct. There are other conditions to consider th/ough. Preexisting conditions are not covered. If the airline or cruise line goes bankrupt not covered. Medical coverage is not included. They will assist you with medical evacuation but you might get charges from third parties I am not clear on what the medical evacuation covers. Third party insurance has much better coverages. I think the Chase Reserve coverage is better.
  21. A lot of recent Royal passengers who crossover are going to be disappointed.
  22. That type of bag is great and there are many brands to choose from. The problem is for many of us at a certain age or disability we need roller bags. I combine a roller bag with an underseat personal item which is a backpack style without rollers that can be attached to a roller bag. Then I can roll both bags.
  23. You can just show up but they are recommending reservations. If you don’t reserve you might waiting 45 minutes or so to get in.
  24. They did not book their airfare with AMEX. So the entire roundtrip was not booked entirely with the AMEX card. That is the terms and conditions for the AMEX coverage.
