  1. Yes, of course but there have been at least 7 or 8 threads I have seen in the past on Cruise Critic where peeps asked if they could bring CBD or pop were skeptical that anything would happen to them if they were caught bringing CBDs.
  2. I always take a photo of that letter which I can then I can look at it on my phone when I am not in my cabin.
  3. You will get a list in your stateroom when you board. The Elite breakfast is still a benefit. Don’t know whether it not being listed in the app is on purpose and don’t care. 😀
  4. On small ships it makes sense. Azamara ships are 900 passengers have smaller crews so crew members often have multiple duties.
  5. The Tobacco Bay concession has always been open in May. I have been there myself in May a couple of times. The water temperature was a bit too chilly for me but there were a fair number of people who were in the water. As you are from Boston you will likely be comfortable with the water temperature.
  6. The posted schedule is the winter schedule. They resume public service to St. George on the Summer schedule which has been going into effect late April or early May. The date depends on the cruise ship schedule. They only run the Orange route on days there are cruise ships in the summer. As you are on NCL you will have access to the complementary private ferry that NCL owns that runs to St. George whenever one of their ships is at the Dockyard even if the public ferry is not running that day.
  7. I would hesitate to go because Turkey supports a terrorist group.
  8. There is a tram that runs between the parking garages at the lower level with stops at the terminals. We used it few years ago in a similiar scenario to yours.
  9. My old AT&T plan includes Canada, Mexico and South America without $10 a month additional for that. It also includes MAX. I have a feeling that their new plan would cost more than I am paying now.
  10. Yes an additional token for between the Swizzle and St. George’s. So two 14 zone tokens and I believe it should be a 3 zone token for that last shorter leg. When you buy your tokens at the Visitor Information Centre at the Dockyard tell them your plans to get the right tokens.
  11. That is silly. A manager or supervisor is supposed to delegate. Someone needs to be in charge and delegate. What did you do for living?
  12. But Istanbul is usually a two day stop and then Ephesus so three days in Turkey. People book for those ports. I probably would not book that itinerary if there was uncertainty. Depends on the other ports.
  13. Your plan will work. That would take 2 tokens, one for the ferry and one for the bus for each person. The bus ride is about one hour. There are 4 routes from Hamilton to St. George. You catch them at the bus terminal. You might consider a stop or two along the way. Like the aquarium or Swizzle Inn. You can get a transportation pass which is good for ferries and buses.
  14. Looking at your signature I see a whole lot of sailings on Celebrity and Azamara. Pretty sure you made Elite in the Capains Club. Royal Caribbean matches Captains Club Elite and above with Diamond status. You get free drinks a day.
  15. Most of the major airlines have had meltdowns at various times. Some not even involving weather. As for antiquated IT systems the problem is that is not easy to modernize legacy systems. That could cause a meltdown. Airline travel in general is unpleasant. Pretty much I fly on airlines that offer me nonstop flights. Home location is a significant factor in choosing flights.
  16. I agree with this. Some super fans of one carrier seem to think one size fits all. I love international travel but my life is mainly at home and the neighboring area.
  17. I think you were very unlucky. I used to fly Southwest 10 flights a year. For 30 years. I don't fly that much anymore but I flew twice this year on Southwest and no major issues.
  18. Where I live now and where I used to live Southwest and American were the main choices. I always do Early Bird. Also I have a Southwest Credit Card That includes some Early Bird boardings. So the card pays for itself as they give points every year. Chase Reserve is transfer partner. If you pay with points and cancel all points are returned. No luggage fees. I have not paid cash for a Southwest Flight in 10 years. Points paid for all my flights. So the seating works out I always get the aisle seat which I prefer. Oh and on Southwest I don'have to book round trip. I can book one way. Even when I am doing a round trip I book each flight separately Ultimate flexibility. I can put up with the seating for that. In the last ten years I have not had any major delay.
  19. From their posting history they are Canadians flying out of Florida on American Airlines. I fly American all the time. Checking in ahead would be nice but is not necessary. They can use free WiFi at the airport or a check in kiosk or a counter. Probably have bags too. So they can’t just walk to the gates anyway. If they want check in at sea they should talk to the Captains Club host. They might do it or guest relations.
  20. I live in a multi unit condo. I need coverage in the hallways, lobbies, parking garage, pool. Elevators. There is wifi in the common owners lounge near the HOA office but that's about as far as it reaches.
  21. That's nice but in my experience T-Mobile has poorer service. I tried it at home and poor signal. You can't make generizations as service varies by location. All the carriers have some bad coverage areas. Since AT&T runs FirstNet, the nationwide service for first responders they tend to have a better network coverage than T-Mobile. in the US. T-Mobile is good for international travelers but I spend much more time at home than traveling out of the US.
  22. Those days are over though. AT&T now has the $10 a day travel passes. Mexico, Canada and 19 Latin American are included and don't cost anything. As OP is on Verizon they only need $10 travel passes in port if they want to have service in ports. At sea they can use WiFi calling if they purchase internet. Whether they are on Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T Wi Fi calling would be what they want. Switching to T-Mobile make no difference.
  23. The Celebrity app works without purchasing a WiFi package. You can check in when your ship arrives at the port and you have cell coverage. Or you can check in at the airport. You don’t need to print a boarding pass, they can scan it from your phone. If you want a printed copy there are kiosks at the airport.
  24. FYI If there is a cruise ship at the Dockyard in November and December there will be a later additional ferry from Hamilton to Dockyrd at 6:00. November 1,2,15,16,21,22,23,24,29. December 5 and 18. http://www.rccbermuda.bm/Documents/Ferry/Winter Ferry Schedule 2023-24.pdf
