  1. It would be great for those of us who do not smoke but cruise lines will not to alienate guests and upset them. Just look at the dress code. You can turn up in virtually anything these days. It's all grey area stuff
  2. I don't think that NC really wants solo travellers. As you say there are only a few small rooms that are solo priced. Pay double for a larger suite and pay what two guests would bring to NC. I can understand how they are thinking. Solos will not be happy but this is NC and not OC.
  3. No cash will be accepted to pay whole or part of your on board spend.
  4. And there was I thinking it would be a Spin Studio.
  5. Well there you have it a dress code with more holes in it than a Swiss cheese. No holes in your jeans though.
  6. I have never been a lover of an all inclusive luxury line charging for restaurant dining. Silversea do this and I have never had a better meal in that restaurant compared with others on the ship.
  7. The first cruise is bound to be sold out. If I were a gambler Keith I might bet that you are on the first cruise.
  8. Well unless Manfredi and his cronies are on board then anything goes as we have seen on Silversea. Let's Hope that it all goes well and that the rules cater for everyone.
  9. Yes CC are storing it for you in the cloud. There is such a difference in atmosphere when there is a seven day turnaround. I have spoken to and observed the crew on these trips when I am on for a long time and they hate it. The crew perform differently and are not relaxed. Service is not the same and they can be tired and stressed. The seven dayers come on and want everything at a fast pace because they haven't got long. They also drink more and can be boisterous. What about me I hear you ask.😁 I am calm and pace myself and encourage the troops to cope and they will get through another seven day hell.
  10. Excellent work cruiseej You're hired. What a large group if you include the lines that nobody here will ever cruise. Just a small detail. The Pursuit will be sailing this August so making it seven for Seabourn then. I know that because I am on board as long as we don't get any more delays. So if Carnival offloaded or kept Seabourn it wouldn't make much of a dent to the finances. Terry over to you 😁
  11. I am a regular Seabourn sailor and have been since 1996. Regent is probably the only luxury line that I have not tried yet although I have known John Barron for many years and he is now back working for Seabourn. I have been invited to visit Splendor in April and am looking forward to seeing what she has to offer.
  12. Have you been told what type of vehicle you will get as eight plus luggage is substantial.
  13. Understandable really as they start in a few months. Why wouldn't they start to appear on listings.

    Formal night

That's the dress code for you.
  15. Let's not let facts get in the way of any decisions here.
  16. I never book a suite on any ship if it is below an open deck. Once bitten.
  17. Don't kid yourself Premium is not like business was. You'll need the four days in Sydney with a chiropractor.😁
  18. Especially those pesky seven day folks 😁
