  1. Can you get any bottles of wine or beers you can stock in your cabin for the next leg? I would do that with Cheers with the 25% off bottles of wine, and then tell them not to open my beer. Got a supply for my second leg when I didn't have OBC for Cheers lol.
  2. I'm about 30 min SW of Chicago. Saw $5.15 the other day. Crazy. Love the cruise hair! And Golden Girls? come on.๐Ÿ’–
  3. That would be awesome, but too late now lol. I took those pics on the last sailing of the Victory, March 2020. Then she went into drydock to be refurbished as the 'new' Carnival Radiance. @KmomChicagowill have to see how many seahorses survived the construction once she boards. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  4. Yes. Definitely wait and hold onto it until you have an expensive fare to apply it too. I don't remember the end date, but I waited a couple years to use mine. I think I got close to $950 - although I have to say that is the one time it was a benefit to go solo and have to pay the double fare - got nice OBC! :)
  5. Yes, lots of seahorses.๐Ÿ˜Š That last one is the table I wanted to steal lol. Wonder how much of it they kept for the new decor. And sorry to hear about the hubby. Hope it doesn't ruin the trip too much.
  6. Then just don't think about the sand. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  7. Right? I've also cruised her a bunch - longest and favorite cruise was her 25 days to Singapore. @Saint Gregexcellent precruise stay. I never used the monorail or light rail; I had a cruise cancelled where I would have used the light rail to get to my hotel, so glad to see how easy it was.
  8. Yep, easy-peasy. I always make sure to tip him a bit more too.
  9. So excited your trip has started ~ Great scenery the further west you go and keep an eye out for the Needle. :)
  10. Honestly I would want an answer asap. Isn't August when final payment would be due - if not sooner than that? I wouldn't want to be messing around after final payment - think there might be a fee to add a name, and if so, who should pay that if its not their fault they got asked late?
  11. Well, it depends on how involved you want to get at the two museums. If you take pictures of everything and read up on each display, it would take hours. I took some pics of the glass and strolled thru pretty quick, same for the pop museum. I bought the City Pass too, so got there right when the glass museum opened and picked up my booklet. No line, so it was quick. Saw the museum and then the Needle has timed entries so had to wander a bit to kill time and then got in line for that. Then went to the pop museum. If you are pressed for time Iโ€™d say you could do an hour or so at each museum and even less at the Needle, although you do have to wait in line for that one. I canโ€™t remember, maybe they let people up every half hour or 45 min.? I wanted to go back to the Needle at night for my 2nd visit, but never made it because I was down at the waterfront. I visited mid May too, 2019. Crowds werenโ€™t too bad. Itโ€™s cool that three places were right there together to use the City Pass on.
  12. The glass place was cool and so is the pop museum. You can take a pic on Prince's motorcycle from Purple Rain.๐Ÿ˜Š All of these don't take that long to walk through, are close together, and so works great for seeing a lot in a day.
  13. I just did this yesterday since the cruise where I was going to Russia got switched out - put the cruise I wanted on hold and then they were able to just move all the funds over - FCC, 'cash' and OBC. Although I did lose $100 OBC because that fare wasn't available. No penalty applied.
  14. Congrats on keeping your job. ๐Ÿ˜Š omg - did not know about the duck game. I admit if I find a duck I will keep it. And Cherry on Top on Mardi Gras was selling a box of 5 different cuties.๐Ÿ˜€
  15. Yes. And I was able to get the free bottle and my friend got one at 50% off.
  16. Great review of Seattle, took lots of notes for my next precruise stay๐Ÿ‘. And those shower curtains were awesome lol. Looking forward to the rest, love the Pink Lady!โค๏ธ
  17. I was on the very last sailing. We actually just made it back before cruising was halted. Really loved the seahorse decor. Wanted to ask for one of the little seahorse tables from the atrium lol. Want to cruise Radiance at some point, but don't like the current short itineraries. Am hoping @KmomChicago will share pics. ๐Ÿ˜Š
  18. Great review. I liked leaving out of Galveston. This was a great hotel, if anyone is wondering about staying there. Lots of stuff to walk to and restaurants right across the driveway. And gets you psyched for your cruise seeing the ship come in right in front of the hotel. ๐Ÿ˜
  19. This is a great website for deck plans. If you hover over a cabin it will tell sq footage and other details. Can also tell if its adjoining, etc., and check what's above and below it to see if its a good location (scroll all the way down to the bottom on the right - click 'cabin check tool'). https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Carnival-Mardi-Gras
  20. I was able to book a room for four and I was solo, so just depends what the system offers you when booking.
  21. I was wondering when I should order for my Nov. cruise due to the expiration, so now I know. thanks :)
  22. and then you look at the picture which has a three-sided cabana. ๐Ÿ˜‚
